📚 Story time...TW near death experience
I was about seven years old when I almost died. I was nearly killed by my sister who was five at the time.
(She had no idea what she was doing, she didn't understand the concept of death and that she could potentially end my life and what that means)
It was a hot summer day and we were playing together in a kiddie pool, unsupervised.
This was a time for us where we had just started to argue and fight more often than we used to.
We were arguing about something, and she went underwater to swim a bit. I was being cheeky and I went to stand up snd I used her head to help me get up 🫣 so mean, I know, but it would have been like dunking her for one second. I let go immediately.
She came up out of the water yelling at me for pushing her head down, and was really angry. I was acting like it wasn't a big deal because we had dunked each other many times before.
Well this time was different, she looked at me and only saw RED! And she lunged at me and we started to fight.
She got me in a position to dunk me back, getting her retribution for me having done it to her 😳
However...my sister wanted to really get me back, so she put all of her weight on my head with both hands and held my head to the bottom of the pool while standing over me.
I remember struggling and I couldn't move my head, not at all! I was flailing and trying to get up but nothing was working, she had all her weight on me.
And then something happened...I thought, oh my God...I'm going to die 😟
And then something else happened....I just stopped. I stopped moving and trying to free myself. I fully accepted that I was going to die.
Then the miracle happened... In that silence I heard a voice speak to me.
It said...dig your nails into her ankle right around the bone! Now!!! AS HARD AS YOU CAN!! NOW!
So I did just that, and the pain from digging into that tender area made her lift her hands off of me, *literally* in the nick of time!
I came out of the water and gasped for breath!
"YOU ALMOST KILLED ME!!" I screamed at her before running into the house to tell my mom what had happened.
