Too Fat To Fail Too Fat To Fail is a weight loss challenge using the power of social media to create lasting weight loss in one individual and inspire others to do the same.

After 45 years of being overweight, Chad Newman is embarking on not just a “diet”, but preparing to change his whole life. Realizing that what he’s been doing for the last 45 years has not been working, he is prepared to start fresh, building a new lifestyle from the ground up. With the help of a crack team of slimologists, Chad will not only start down the path of healthy eating and healthy livin

g, but will learn the how’s and why’s of things. Through blog posts, tweets, Facebook posts and YouTube videos, we will follow Chad’s progress as he forges a new life for himself. We will follow the up’s and down’s as Chad marches towards his goal of shedding 220 pounds off is 420 pound frame. While it may take a village to raise a child, it takes a community to help that child lose weight. This is the heart of Too Fat To Fail. Using Social media tools, we intend to create a support system for Chad that will allow him to share both his triumphs and his failures. Chad is a stand-up comic and improvisational actor whose sense of humor and love of life comes through in everything he does. By creating fun and engaging webisodes, the audience can learn along with Chad about the in’s and out’s of healthy living. The goal of Too Fat To Fail is to produce high quality, entertaining content that gets healthy information across in a fun way. Inspiring others to take up the challenge and using the information they’ve learned from the webisodes, to start down their own path to a healthier life.
