Some pictures and some real talk. Are you ready? Documenting the last hours of our winter break. Bodhi on the new skull comforter, expertly made by . Morning pickle ball at the park with Rainier in the background. A tea party with some lovely guests.
Now for the real talk. It’s about these things, these smart phones, that can take over our lives. They are convenient and yet waste so much time! I’ve made some attempts these last years to break, or at least reduce, my dependency and addiction to my smartphone. Most attempts don’t go very well, and I know I’m not the only one. I talk with many clients about this too and always remind them that some of the biggest brains work on making these devices as enticing and as addictive as possible. I’m tired of starting at my screen so much, and i really heard my child when she asked me to spend less time on a screen and more time hanging out with her. I’m starting a new experiment to break up with my phone. Since instagram is very much made for our phones, I won’t be on here as much. I will share how it’s going and what I’m doing in my email letters so feel free to sign up for those if you’d like to know more. (Link in bio)
Hope it’s a good start to the New Year for you all. ❤️
