🙅🏼‍♀️ Going to HIIT classes & doing hundreds of reps at low weights
🙅🏼‍♀️ scared to go heavier than 20-25 # for your own leg workouts
🙅🏼‍♀️ not using a barbell for any movements

Sorry, but you’re not going to continuously add muscle, look hot af, and get your period back (bc you’re not sensitizing your insulin by ONLY using light weights)

The ovaries are where the symptoms show up. But the metabolic dysfunction is where it all starts.

Most hormone advice you’ve been given is incomplete.

Your progesterone is low, so you try to replace it. But are you ovulating? What’s suppressing it? Stress, blood sugar issues, and thyroid dysfunction all impact ovulation.

Your estrogen is high. But estrogen is about clearance, not just production. Your liver, detox pathways, and bile flow determine whether it gets eliminated or recirculated. Symptoms stick around if that system is sluggish.

You’re told your thyroid is fine, but that’s based on TSH alone. But thyroid function is a full system - one marker doesn’t explain your symptoms.

Blood sugar instability drives cortisol.
Chronic stress suppresses progesterone.
Inflammation and liver loaf implant hormone clearance.
And not eating enough impacts the whole system.

The systems are connected. If you aren’t looking at the whole picture, you chase symptoms instead of figuring out the WHY.

If nothing has worked, HRT won’t be the magic bullet.
