This weekend, our team received and began installing a new TrueBeam linear accelerator, an advanced radiation therapy system designed to deliver highly precise cancer treatment. This technology uses advanced Hypersight Imaging with Adaptive Therapy that allows our physicians to better see tumors and to focus the treatment, helping improve the treatment experience for patients. We’re looking forward to bringing this next level of care to our community!

This week is National Laboratory Professionals Week, and we want to take a moment to recognize our Medical Office Laboratory Assistants!

For many of our cancer patients, lab visits are a routine but important part of their care. Our lab assistants are the ones making that happen with skill and consistency. They collect and process lab work, and keep things running smoothly so that our care teams have the information they need to make critical treatment decisions.

Beyond the technical side of the job, they also show up for patients who may be anxious, tired, or going through one of the hardest seasons of their lives...and they do it with a smile!
