Honoring the past and encouraging the future of Tatsuo Shimabuku’s Isshinryu.

Each year, the Isshinryu Hall of Fame brings together practitioners from all associations to honor our art, celebrate achievement and walk in unity through the One Heart Way. The Isshin-Ryu Hall of Fame (IHOF) is an international event, held annually to honor and recognize outstanding Isshin-Ryu practitioners from around the world for their contributions to the art of Isshin-Ryu Karate regardless

of their various association affiliations or dojo memberships. It provides the opportunity for all Isshin-Ryu practitioners to come together in fellowship, exchange knowledge and ideas, begin new friendships and renew old ones, as well as participate in healthy unbiased competition.

What an incredible sight.

Past and present Isshinryu Hall of Fame inductees gathered together to celebrate the 2026 Isshinryu Hall of Fame—and the art that connects us all.

We are incredibly grateful for every Sensei, instructor, competitor, family member, supporter, and friend who traveled to Gatlinburg and helped make this year so special.
