**JAROM'S STORY- Why we do what we do**
At 18 years old, Jarom’s life changed forever.
After a devastating accident left him paralyzed from the chest down, the future he once imagined seemed to disappear overnight. The months that followed were filled with grueling rehab and relearning the most basic daily tasks—feeding himself, brushing his teeth, even breathing on his own.
But Jarom refused to let that moment define the rest of his life.
Through faith, family, and relentless determination, he began to rebuild. Just as he found his footing, a new battle emerged: severe pressure sores that would dominate nearly two decades of his life. Endless appointments, surgeries, setbacks, and uncertainty became his reality.
Still, he didn’t give up.

He got his independence back. He coached his kids’ soccer teams, traveled with his family, flew on airplanes and helicopters, and lived life with confidence again.

With the support of his family, Jarom, along with his brother Jake, stepped in to carry the mission forward so others could experience the same freedom he fought so hard to regain.
