What if you didn't have to choose the same lens for both eyes? 👁️
When choosing a premium IOL, there's often a trade-off between range and visual quality.
🔹 Multifocal lenses like Envy and Odyssey can provide more near vision and greater spectacle independence, but may come with halos.
🔹 EDOF lenses like PureSee offer excellent distance and intermediate vision with very clean visual quality and minimal halos, but typically less near vision.
That's where **mix and match** comes in.
In the right patient, we can use the first eye as a "test drive." If you love it, we can repeat it in the second eye. If you want more near vision, we can consider a multifocal. If you want cleaner distance vision or fewer halos, an EDOF may be a better fit for the second eye.
It's another way to personalize cataract surgery around your vision—not just a lens package.
