No matter what you do, you cannot change people unless they truly want to change themselves. You can advise them, support them, love them, and stand beside them, but real change comes from within. Every person must choose their own path, learn from their own mistakes, and decide when they are ready to grow.
Trying to change others often leads to disappointment and emotional exhaustion. Instead of forcing change, it is better to focus on understanding, patience, and protecting your own peace. People change when life teaches them lessons, not when they are pressured by others.
Accept people for who they are, but also know when to walk away from unhealthy behavior. You cannot control someone’s actions, mindset, or choices, but you can control how you respond. Sometimes the greatest act of wisdom is letting people be themselves while you continue growing into the best version of yourself.
