Hey fam,

Cloak & Fang is now live on beardedracc.co!

Cloak & Fang has been in development for a bit. It is the gentler, spiritual successor to Off The Beaten Path. Cleaner, crisper, more personal and pronounced, this one hits nice. A fun dose of citrus, but not too much to off balance the scent, that gives way to one of my best overall woodsy scents I've made. It's also the first time I've used Iso E Super, which I really enjoyed using to help amplify the wood notes in the scent. It's also the first time I used a Mushroom fragrance, which I personally like the musky note of it. It isn't over the top. Nothing really is in this scent. This is a complete, built scent. Balance.

We were considering dropping the Indulgence series of scents today and running a special sale for them, but I want to take more time on them to make them right for you. I want to ensure you guys get something enjoyable. Next week I also plan to drop my 4th of July scent. One of them. That'll be a very Racc type of scent.

Hey fam,

Here's a couple for ya. I asked and this is what was suggested and had interest so we're starting with these.

New Scent Drops!

Chococannabananabliss: Banana, Chocolate, and a little bit of that green stuff. This one is a "banger." Was a collab with Jay Cat.

Rasta Racc: A tropical wonderland scent that could be good with or without its green stuff, but it's absolutely heavenly. I love this one so much. This was a collab with Timothy Bush.

Returning Favorites!

BST: This one is honestly in my top 10. I am proud of this one, and for good reason. And it doesn't need a to***co or boozy crutch, it's glorious, it's colognesque, it's just simply semi-sweet, bold, and a statement.

Cigarro de Mora: This one has been eyed for a return for a while. People love it, people respect it, it's a true Vintage Racc scent. I'm bringing this one back for a little bit to see what you guys have to say. I hope you enjoy.

Good morning fam,

I'm virtually caught up. I'm working on current orders, which could be going out as early as today. Things have sped up. Many of those effected by my health delays have been taken care of.

I'm trying to decide right now within my capability what I could bring back for you guys that you'd enjoy. I'm currently dealing with a fo shortage, and taking the time off kinda ate into the ability to restock scents appropriately. That being said my hands are currently tied on certain things.

So let's try this. You tell me what you want brought back right now. I'll try to focus on that. We'll go from there. I can drop new scents if you want those.

Howdy fam,

I opened the website back up. I took down everything beard but unscented, and custom. I remodeled customs with a better pricing tier system, and that you can now order 8 or more notes.

Additionally, this includes oil, liquid butter, or parfum. Feathered Blend or Den Blend. No longer required to get a combo, either.

I will say this though. In the past I've been extremely flexible on obtaining fo for customs. That's how mine roll. I have no issues ordering out. However, in the past I've ignored costs and the like. If something is just not feasible for us to get for you, I'll shoot straight with you. I'll do my best. Always.

Customs come with an inherent delay due to creation, acquisition, etc. It's a process. While I attempt to keep this process within reason, a delay could occur. It isn't just sitting on shelf.

Unscented oils, liquid butters are available, if you're in need of those from me.

Solid butters and balms are discontinued for the remainder of the summer. Unless previously worked out with me first. Those are on hiatus.

I also dropped our first Summer shirt! It's available now on the website. Beard friendly with the image on the back. It's summer my friends.

I got beard mail last night! And it had something cool in it. But we gotta break it down yo.

First, a massive shoutout to Renee at Black Manor Grooming for a wonderful package, product, the note, the whole thing was fantastic. But she's been over on her page promoting mental health awareness with her own struggles and successes! Showing you can adapt and overcome! And that you are not alone! She's doing great things with her company and I'm excited to see where her rebrand takes her! Good luck and keep slaying it!

The package was nice, I especially loved the stamped wax on the note. It was so beautifully written. I'm jealous of your handwriting. Lol. It was really cool, and appreciated. I love personal touches like that.

The stickers were incredible. I gave several of the moth ones to my wife because she loves moths and butterflies and thought she'd dig them. But the best sticker I've probably gotten from any company was the Mental Health Matters sticker. I really like that one in particular. I gave that one to my sticker collecting kiddo for safe keeping. Thank you for that.

I got a sample of Fresh Baked Dread, and honestly I love it. I was a fan of Apex Wet Bandits. I think this IMHO edges that out a touch for me. Both great scents.

I ordered Cherub, I love coconut and wanted to try a different take on coconut. She delivered. In bottle it's light. But it opens up nicely in beard. I get more of the wood note in there, with a very lightly sweet backing. I mean this isn't at all your typical coconut — and I LIKE IT. It is a playful scent, I dig it. I love the feel of the oil blend in beard. It's smooth, absorption is solid, it isn't at all greasy. It's great. I'm sharing this with Meredith for her hair.

I really dig it! Definitely check her out and give her some love! I'm glad I finally got the chance!

Howdy fam,

Cardiologist went well. I've got next steps. Sent my Holter monitor in today, go for my heart ultrasound soon, gonna do a stress test too. But we're optimistic.

So yeah. Good stuff.

Meds likely need changing too. It's complicated but it's better than having a heart attack. Still ruling things out, yada yada. Look, I'm trying to be optimistic. Lol.

So I'm going to try to return sooner rather than later. With changes to make things better for you, better for me. They are still being drawn up specifically, but I do have some good news I'd like to share...

Puzzles Dreamers will be brought back as a Mainline. Additionally, I am going to continue our charity support donating 15% of all PD sales to Autism Awareness.

Family is important to me, Autism Awareness is important to me, and if I can continue to do good with that scent, I'd like to do so. If I'm going to continue to offer it, I'd especially like to continue the charity work.

Mainline in general will return. Still undecided on scents and such, but there's several I believe I mentioned before that could make this list. Cigarro de Mora, Murder, Newton's Apple, maybe even Midnight Ride and Raccken.

It may take a bit to fully ramp up and everything returns, but yeah. We'll get there.

I will be getting rid of my Mix-a-Lot feature, and I may disable customs for a time. That's undecided. Things just need ironed out between appointments and such. I won't be taking June off. But might return very early June. Subject to change but yeah. It'll get ironed out too. I'm not gonna rush rush. But I feel bad for pausing. Health or not.

That Fable ad. You know the one making the rounds..

I just want to stress this. For someone to be in such a position in the community, and to dog others the way they do while they have a basic, standard product (carriers), no.

I don't go after other companies or talk down on others because it ain't the right way to go about it. I'm not gonna start here. But I want to say it's just a shame that they crap on the bearded community so much, and so many still support them.

For the sake of the community, even just your community.. do better.
