The Ice Trick for Itchy Skin

If you’re dealing with an itchy, inflamed area of eczema, there’s a simple trick I often talk about: the ice trick.

Take a piece of ice and gently rub it over the itchy area for around 15 seconds, then remove it.

Once the cold sensation fades, you can repeat it again — and you can do this several times.

Sometimes, it’s the simple things that can make a difference.

Are You Checking Your Nerves?

People get their teeth checked.
They get their eyes checked.
But how often do you get your nerves checked?

There are hidden things happening in the body that many people simply don’t think about — including the connection between the brain, the nervous system and the trillions of cells in your body.

When it comes to neurological health, nerve awareness matters.

Start paying attention to your nervous system.

Get your nerves checked.

Your Body Is Always Giving You Signals.

What if the little things you notice every day are actually trying to tell you something?

Your breath, nails, skin, sweating and energy can all change when something isn’t right in the body.

The problem is, we often brush these signs off because they seem small or insignificant.

But your body is constantly communicating with you.

The key is learning how to recognise the signals before they become bigger problems.

Start paying attention. Your body may be telling you more than you realise.

What’s one change in your body you’ve noticed recently that you’ve been ignoring?

Most people think of light as something you see with. Your cells treat it as something to run on. Inside almost every cell you have are tiny engines that make your energy, and they respond to specific wavelengths of light, red being one of them. That’s not wellness talk, it’s why light is one of the seven things I teach that your body was designed to run on.

And the sinuses are a smart place to deliver it.

The tissue there sits close to the surface, it’s rich with blood flow and nerve endings, and for a lot of people it’s an area that has been irritated and inflamed for years.

Warm, focused light into that area … most people’s first reaction is exactly what you’d guess:

“oh, that feels good.”

Here’s the bigger point.

Light was the very first thing God spoke into creation. Day One.

Your body still reads it like a language… it sets your internal clock, your sleep, your energy.

Most of us just moved indoors and forgot.

Light is 1 of 7.

I teach all seven, free, live, every Tuesday at 8pm ET, with open floor at the end so you can ask me about your own situation.

One Breathwork Session. A Lifetime of Healing.

He was going through an incredibly difficult period in his life.

He was barely sleeping and struggling with severe insomnia. During the breathwork session, he experienced an intense emotional release — screaming, laughing and crying.

He had already tried meditation retreats, ayahuasca, psychedelics and many other approaches.

But afterwards, he said something that really stayed with me:

“That was the most powerful one-hour experience I’ve ever had in my life.”

The next day, I saw him again.

He looked completely different. His complexion had come back, and he told me it was the first time he had slept through the night in a long time.

10 hours of sleep. No sleeping pills.

That experience made me look at breathwork in a completely different way.

Our breath is something we use every single day, yet most of us are never taught how powerful a tool it can be for working with our nervous system, emotions and overall wellbeing.

Sometimes, the most important tools are the ones we’ve never been taught to use.

What could learning to work with your breath change for you?

She Carried It for 50 Years. Then Something Changed.

At 67, Sherry joined a Zoom call to tell me about her experience with one of our sessions.

I thought I was about to hear a great testimonial.

I wasn’t prepared for what she told me.

At 17 years old, Sherry had been kidnapped at knifepoint and subjected to horrific trauma. She had carried that experience with her for 50 years.

During the session, she reached the forgiveness part of the journey.

She described seeing her kidnapper in a bright, blinding white light.

And then she said something I will never forget.

She could feel herself not only forgiving him for what he had done to her...
but loving him for it.

That doesn’t mean what happened to her was acceptable.

It means that, somehow, she had reached a place where the experience no longer held the same power over her.

Sometimes healing isn’t about changing what happened.

It’s about changing what that experience continues to mean inside you.

Why Aren’t We Teaching This?

A man who had tried meditation retreats, ayahuasca, psychedelics and countless other approaches described one hour of somatic breathwork as the most powerful experience of his life.

But what happened the next day really caught my attention.

He told me it was the first time he had ever slept through the entire night.

10 hours.

No sleeping pills.

That was the moment I started asking bigger questions about breathwork.

If something this profound can happen through working with our breath, why aren’t we talking about it more?

Why aren’t we teaching people how to understand and work with their breath?

Why aren’t we introducing these tools earlier in life?

For me, that experience became a turning point.

Sometimes the most powerful tools available to us are the ones we’ve never been taught how to use.

Your breath is one of them.

What If Your Body Has More Healing Capacity Than You Realise?

I remember hearing a story about a man experiencing an incredibly intense somatic breathwork session.

He was screaming, laughing, crying — releasing an enormous amount of energy.

But what happened the next day was what really caught my attention.

He said it was the first time in his life that he had slept through the entire night.

Ten hours.

No sleeping pills.

For someone who had tried meditation retreats, ayahuasca, psychedelics and what felt like everything else, he described that one-hour breathwork experience as the most powerful experience of his life.

That story raises an important question:

How much potential does the body have to regulate, release and restore when we give it the right tools?

Sometimes the answer isn’t another pill or another supplement.

Sometimes we need to understand the body’s own systems and learn how to work with them.

That’s why I believe breath, nervous-system regulation and the body’s ability to heal and adapt deserve far more attention.

Your body is constantly communicating.

The question is: are you listening?

More Supplements ≠ Better Health

When people think about health and wellness, many think “supplements first.”

But is that really where we should start?

Some people come looking for answers carrying a giant garbage bag full of supplements they’re already taking.

Your body wasn’t designed to rely on a bag full of supplements.

Maybe the first step isn’t adding more.
Maybe it’s understanding what your body actually needs.
