Your abs aren’t being hidden by carbs. They’re being hidden by “healthy” fats. 👀
This one ruffles feathers every time.
Because somewhere along the way, women were taught that if a food is healthy, it’s basically free.
So breakfast becomes 2 eggs cooked in oil, avocado, and nut butter toast.
Lunch becomes a Cobb salad loaded with cheese, avocado, bacon, dressing, and nuts.
Dinner becomes salmon, olive oil, and more avocado.
Every food on that list is nutritious.
Every food on that list is healthy.
And every food on that list is also calorie-dense as hell.
Here’s the hard truth:
Your body doesn’t hand out bonus points because your calories came from avocados instead of a Big Mac.
500 calories is still 500 calories.
Healthy fats are essential for hormones, health, and feeling satisfied. But they are also the easiest macro to accidentally overeat because they’re so calorie-dense and usually don’t take up much space on your plate.
That’s why so many women are putting in effort, making “healthy choices,” and still not seeing the lean, defined look they want.
Not because they’re lazy.
Not because their hormones are broken.
Not because they need another cleanse.
Because nobody ever taught them how to balance meals, manage portions, and fit healthy fats into a calorie target that actually supports their goals.
Nothing is more frustrating than doing everything “right” and getting nowhere.
