September was a really hard month for Willow & Wick…

I know small business have hard seasons, and September was definitely one of ours.

We are incredibly blessed to live in a community that shows up for small businesses, so I figured there was no harm in simply asking for a little extra love right now!

We have around 50 local vendors inside Willow & Wick, with new things coming in every single week. So when you shop with us, you’re not only supporting our family you’re supporting so many other local families and small businesses right alongside us.

If you haven’t stopped in lately, we would absolutely LOVE to see you. Come walk around, see what’s new, and shop local. 🤍

Honestly, if it wasn’t for Kris, Willow & Wick would have had to close its doors.

So I just need to brag on my husband for a minute. 🥹🤍

I don’t think people always realize what it looks like behind the scenes of a small business when it’s literally just TWO people.

And lately… it’s really been one.

This pregnancy has made me so incredibly sick. There have been so many days where I genuinely cannot move, and without hesitation Kris has just stepped in and carried it ALL.

Taking care of me. Taking care of our boys. Making products. Opening the store every day. Packing everything up for markets. Working markets. Restocking. Loading. Unloading. Running back and forth. Doing all of the little things nobody ever sees.

And somehow still coming home and taking care of us.

The truth is, Willow & Wick would not be able to stay open right now if it wasn’t for him. And I don’t say that lightly.

Owning a small business is HARD. Especially when you don’t have employees, extra money or a big team behind you. When one person is down, there isn’t someone else to call in. There’s just us.

And watching him step in and do absolutely everything because he loves me, loves our family, and loves what we’ve built has honestly blown me away.

But the sweetest part of all of this is that Willow & Wick has never been and will never be just about money to us.

It’s the people we’ve met. The conversations we’ve had. The friendships we never would have made. The testimonies people have shared with us. The people who walk into our store and somehow leave feeling like family.

It’s watching God take something we started during one of the hardest seasons of our lives and turn it into something so much bigger than we ever could have planned ourselves.

It’s all Him. Every bit of it.

So if you’ve shopped with us, shared one of our posts, told someone about us, come see us at a market, walked through the doors of our little store, or simply prayed for us… thank you. 🤍

When you support Willow & Wick, you’re supporting two people who are quite literally giving everything they have to this little business and trusting God with the rest.

And Kris… I don’t know how I could ever thank you enough. There is absolutely no Willow & Wick without you. I love you, and I’m so thankful God chose you to do this life with me. 🤍

God has been SO good to us.

And I cannot wait to see what He does next. 🥹
