This is what a “waiting room” looks like at Blue Sky. 💙☀️

Although around here, there really isn’t much waiting. 😉

Our kids are free to play, explore and get comfortable—and sometimes a checkup might even happen right here in the play area!

And during back-to-school germ season, we’re especially grateful for a practice model that doesn’t mean sitting in a crowded waiting room full of sick children.

When your child isn’t feeling well, you can reach us directly. When they need to be seen, we make room for them. And when they’re here, we want them to feel as comfortable as this little cutie does. 🥰

🏈 Back-to-School Sports Season is Here! 🎒

We’re excited to once again partner with Florida Southern College and Southeastern University to help student-athletes get ready for the season! This morning alone, we welcomed 13 football players to Blue Sky Pediatrics for sports physicals and sickle cell screenings—getting them in, taken care of quickly, and back on their way. Results are emailed within just a few days, making the process simple and convenient.

As families gear up for a new school year, remember… getting your child ready for sports doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Whether it’s a sports physical, required screening, or simply making sure your athlete is healthy and ready to compete, we’re here to help.

💧 A few sports safety reminders as practices begin:
• Hydrate before, during, and after activity.
• Take the Florida heat seriously—know the signs of heat illness.
• Make sure helmets, pads, and other protective equipment fit properly.
• Never ignore dizziness, chest pain, or feeling “off” during exercise.

We love supporting athletes of all ages and helping them start the season healthy, safe, and ready to play!

What an incredible evening celebrating Blue Sky Pediatrics’ first birthday and ribbon cutting!

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who joined us—our families, friends, patients, Chamber members, business partners, and supporters who took time out of their busy lives to celebrate with us. Seeing so many familiar faces gathered together reminded us why we started this journey in the first place.

Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of caring for amazing children, supporting parents through both joyful and challenging moments, and building relationships that feel more like family than patients. Your trust means everything to us.
