Healthcare supply chain professionals are responsible for making sure the right product is in the right place at the right time.
When that happens, it can be almost invisible.
When it doesn’t, patient care can stop.
A missing item can delay a procedure. A backorder can force a clinical alternative. An inventory error can send someone scrambling minutes before a case.
And behind all of that is a workforce sourcing, receiving, stocking, tracking, and delivering the supplies healthcare depends on every day.
So here is the question:
Does compensation reflect that level of responsibility?
If you could fill in the blank on this paycheck, what should a healthcare supply chain professional make?
Hourly or annually. Put your number in the comments.
