🌬️🧹🪘🐉❤️ Brushing, sweeping and moving through our emotions with our breath, sweetgrass wands, brushing the drum, and gentle movement. The resting silence after was so sweet. We all loved it. ❤️

🌬️🐉🪘❤️🌳🙏💫 Guess where I went yesterday?! Yes, Acorn Child Development!

❤️🪺🐉🌬️Oh my, I brought a nest with a dragon egg, scarves, and we read Winnie’s Midnight Dragon. The kids, and adults loved it! Then we talked about emotions, and how we could use breath and our sound tools to express them without crying, yelling, and snorting. My new thunder gourd drum was a huge hit as baby dragon breath! I think Miss Christie liked it as much as the littles did! And the babies, oh my. They were so engaged! The kids practiced fire breath, “brushed” the drum, their bodies, magic sweetgrass wands, and used my newly created pulse keepers (a hit) for tapping and pulse drumbeat on their bodies, and rainstick to put the fire out. The entire time they were learning emotional and nervous system regulation, and totally delighted! Such great healing tools for kids! We all had so much fun!

🌬️🪘🦴❤️💫 Today has been such a wonderful day creating gifts, and preparing for our 🌀Roots & Ritual🌀 ceremony tomorrow eve for The Sacred Weave • Infusing the Archetypes. These are my “notes,” my lifestyle reminders to remind me where I truly came from - where women really came from before a patriarchy society took our drums. Women were the first drummers, the keepers of the frame drum, and played these sacred healing tools for rites of passage, the mystery schools and religious ceremonies.

🌀 Each month, when we gather, we learn a little of our true history, but most of all, we connect in such sacred community and feel the frame drum in our bones. We carry the remembrance of our ancestors with every sacred pulse of our inner drum. Witnessing the reclamation, enlightenment, and healing together is so empowering.

🌬️🪘🌀❤️🦴 Chasity Griffis and I will be here to welcome you all with open arms tomorrow eve. It is going to be an amazing gather!

💫 See you soon for Rhythm • Women • Rising!

🌬️🪘❤️🌊💫 The frame drum is the oldest most sacred healing book. Each drum we make here is created with a vivid and visceral connection to sound as medicine, healing as a journey, and nature as ally and inspiration.

❤️💫❤️ It is time for you to create yours? There is still time to register for Drum Making Experience with Tattered Lady . November 1 is the 🌀The Turn of the Wheel, the entry into the dark, introspective half of the year. I am most creative and do a lot of inner work during this time. It is the time when nature leads you inward, and the outer noise fades to make room for deep listening and introspection. What a beautiful day to birth a medicine drum from our sacred waters. An experience of infusing your healing tool with not just with your personal heartbeat and voice, but with the collective, liminal frequency of the season, when the boundaries are thinnest. I can’t wait.

❤️🪘🦌🫎🌀💫 You will have your choice of of creating a deer or elk spirit drum.

💫 Please text Sandy to register @810-323-3700.
