✨🪘🐴🪶🐎💫 Oh the drum energy is really flowing in our sacred space. Sage Spirit, Earth Connection, my amazing horse drum, has moved an entire mountain of creativity for creating healing drums. Her name fits her well. I am grateful.
🌬️🪘🕊️ Welcome to our healing journey so far. I created her back in March, when there was a few weeks off from events to “rest” and connect to what resonates for me, to offer what feels authentic, to you. Deep connection to the Earth Rhythms, and more sacred intention than I have words for. She was soaked in the water of our lake, the water was profoundly womb-like that day, and blessed in sacred ground. I had to clear a skim of ice off the top of her hide in the morning, and there she was, nestled right in her little womb of water. Jon was so moved when I brought her in the house, he blessed and prayed over her, so she is tranquil and balanced with masculine and feminine energy. The beautiful vine on the frame is a burst of his creative energy, while wood burning in his bed. ❤️ He’s amazing. I infused my prayers with intention to heal the bottom three chakras, the 2nd brain, our enteric nervous system, where we hold all our emotions. Such womb healing wisdom, wow. Her handle symbolizes the four directions of The Music Medicine Wheel, held by vintage rebirthed mink. Her healing mallets are mink, and the body drum holders are all natural material, wood, alpaca, felted wool and mink. The mink spirit represents stealth, adaptability, and sharp intuition. It reminds you to stay agile, trust your instincts, and navigate the emotional and physical realms with quiet determination. ❤️🙏 We’ve traveled (photos) quite a few places so far, we’ve been through many healing drum journeys, and the testimonials of her moving and healing energy have been incredible! I’ll share more later. Have to say this, so many drums have been birthed here, but this one, wow. Just wow. If you have heard her, you know.
🌬️🐎🌟🙏🪶🪘💫The spiritual drum itself is often referred to as the "shaman's horse" or “spirit drum.” Across cultures in spiritual and shamanic traditions, it is viewed not merely as a musical instrument, but a sacred vessel used to carry consciousness between the physical and spiritual worlds.
🌟🪘🙏💫 All of my intentional art made with anything from an animal is blessed and rebirthed. Every drum here is created with a vivid and visceral connection to sound as medicine, healing as as a journey, and nature as ally and inspiration.
