Dealing with a scar from surgery, injury, or stretch marks?

Here are a few simple tips I always share with my clients at Skin Rehab Lab:

🧴 Massage your scar (only after it’s fully healed) with a water-based cream or organic balm to help soften and relax the tissue.

☀️ Protect it from the sun. Scar tissue darkens easily—cover it or use SPF 30+ (I recommend SPF 70).

💧 Keep it moisturized. Dry skin heals slower. I love organic salves balms.

🩹 Try silicone patches to help flatten and smooth raised scars. (But they aren’t the only thing to rely on)

🥗 Eat well + stay hydrated. Skin heals from the inside out. Get in 1000 mg or more of vitamin C.

🖤 And here’s the truth: Not every scar is ready for paramedical revision or camouflage.
