This week we celebrate the Eart Day 🌏
And I want to share with you 2 tips that help me make my kitchen more eco-friendly 🌿
1. Coffee scrub ☕
I love coffee, so I produce a lot of spent coffee grounds. I use them as a fertilizer, I make coffee granola with them, but I also use them as a scrub 💆
Just add a little olive oil, sugar and cinnamon. Mix everything and enjoy the benefits of the antioxidants.
2. Onions/garlic in olive oil 🧅🧄
Onions & garlic are the basis for most of my cooked and baked meals. I bet you use them quite often too. So I encourage you to prepare a whole batch in one session and put it in olive oil (+ salt and spices). That way you save time and limit the risk of them spoiling.
A jar with 🧅🧄 in olive oil can last about 2 weeks in your fridge.
