3 months into the “new me” —
lifting 3x/week, BJJ 2x/week, cardio/HIIT 3x/week.
Sitting around 176–177 lbs in the morning, ~11–14% body fat depending how it’s measured.
I get asked a lot… “are you happy with how you look?”
Honestly — I’m never fully satisfied. But I’ve realized part of that is because I stopped tracking and sharing my progress after I stepped away from bodybuilding in 2021.
No check-ins. No photos. No posts.
So how do you even measure progress if you’re not documenting it?
Today it hit me while I was about to get on the rower — I need to start posting again. Not for validation, but for accountability.
I looked back at photos from 2 years ago and thought, “damn I looked good”… but I had less muscle and a completely different goal at the time.
Now? I’m stronger, more athletic, and I’ve built muscle that actually works for me.
Point is —
don’t forget to give yourself credit when you’re moving in the right direction.
Still a long way to go… and I’m not stopping anytime soon.
