Stop. I have heard way too many people this week talk about tanning.

If you skip every other step in your routine but do sunscreen, you're doing more for your skin than someone with a 10-step routine who skips SPF.

I'm not being dramatic. I've had skin cancer. A few times now. It SUCKSSSS. But, daily sunscreen does more for pigmentation, fine lines, and texture than any serum I have ever tried. And I have tried a lot of serums. Prevention helps more than trying to fix it later.

Two I actually rotate between right now: Olay Rengenerist for everyday (goes under makeup, doesn't pill, doesn't smell like a beach) and DRMTLGY Tinted for longer days on camera or at events. Both linked in my Amazon storefront with my full routine. https://kineticwellness716.com/773-2/ or https://amzn.to/4pjWmBj

If you already wear sunscreen daily, I love you and your skin will too. If you don't — start tomorrow. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

Game recognizes game.

You lift heavy.
I run far.
She builds companies.
He trains at 5am.

Different fonts. Same dedication.

Just because it’s not your flavor of hard doesn’t mean it’s not hard.

So this Monday?
Clap for yourself.
Clap for other people.
Hydrate.
Do the thing.

We’re all out here trying. 💁🏻‍♀️🔥

It all started with a conversation and one, “Oh, that sounds fun, I'm in.”

At the Buff & Flo Christmas party, one of the other trainers was talking about signing up for Hyrox. As someone who is still trying to run a half-marathon in every state, but also hadn’t taken on a big physical challenge in a while, I was intrigued. I felt ready to push myself again. I hadn't taken on a meaningful challenge since my surgery in 2023.

Then my partner had a conflict, and I was asking everyone to step in as my partner. Needless to say, I got some "girl, are you crazy" vibes. But alas! Victoria jumped in to be my savior, and I thought, great. We're both trainers. She’s a fitness baddy. I’m a fitness baddy. Clearly, we’ve got this.

Wrong.
So.....So wrong.

The first dedicated HYROX training session I took, I genuinely thought I was going to die. I was convinced I had made a huge mistake. Who the F actually was doing this for fun.

I thought I was in shape. I mean, I work out multiple times a week, sometimes multiple times a day. I teach, lift, run.
Surely, I could survive this.

Humble pie, served hot on a cold Saturday morning. Sitting in my truck, wondering why I still thought I could do whatever and survive.
But I came back.
My “oh crap, what have I done?” moment met my stubborn Ta**us attitude and turned into, “Okay, let’s see what we can do.”
I said to myself what I say to many of my clients: Just show up. Just finish. Who cares what everyone else is doing?

I really believe that if you do not challenge yourself, you do not change. Not your body. Not your mind. Not your confidence. Not your attitude.
I have a front-row seat to plenty of people who are perfectly content staying mediocre. Comfortable. Coasting. Status quo forever.

That’s not me. That will never be me. If I coast too long, I start to lose myself. I need the next challenge. I need the thing that makes me uncomfortable enough to grow. There are plenty of ordinary people out there, and that is lovely for them. Not me.

We haven’t even raced yet, and we already signed up to do it again in October.
With only a few weeks left in training, I’m honestly grateful that one ill-timed “of course I can do that” pushed me into something hard.
Because it is absolutely making me stronger at a time when I need it more than ever.

And not just in a lifting weights kind of way. So if you needed a reason to do something new, here is your nudge.

📍 Vegas Feb 2026 ✨ Manifest logistics conference!
My girl slayed the main stage at the women’s lunch. gave me the best limo ride of my life 💃 and my dude proved that everything is rigged in Vegas because he destroyed karaoke and was denied first place. Plus I got to see the display for my 5th year in a row. Love my logistics fam to the moon and back ❤️
Figured I’d better post these before we have to do it all again next week 🤪

I got 99 problems, but they all seem smaller when I work out.
Working out will not solve your problems, life still happens.
But it can make your problems feel smaller.

Movement gives you a reset, more patience, more energy, and a little space between you and whatever is stressing you out.
Try a new workout this week, bring a friend, ask for modifications, and let it be messy and imperfect.
If you are feeling some kind of way about new classes, please check out my latest blogs for some tips on how to make the experience less painful.

Find your space. Take up room. 💪

Too cold to go out? Perfect.
It’s officially Workout With Your Pets Season. 🐾❄️

Fun fact from heart.org - 72% of owners report reduced loneliness and 30% fewer depressive symptoms, aiding significantly with seasonal depression through increased companionship and mandatory routine.

Winter doesn’t mean stop moving.
It means get creative.

Try this:
🐶 Squats while your dog waits for a treat
🐱 Planks while your cat supervises (or climbs on you)
🐾 Lunges down the hallway during zoomies
🧘‍♀️ Stretch on the floor and let them join the “class”

No gym anxiety.
No mirrors.
No pressure.

Just you, your body, and your built-in accountability buddy with paws.

Cold outside.
Warm inside.
Stronger every day.

Who’s your workout partner this winter? 🐕🐈

Everyone was a beginner once. Including the person lifting twice your weight at the gym or standing on their head in the corner.

Here's what no one tells you about gym intimidation:
🔹 Everyone is too busy worrying about themselves to watch you
🔹 Doing it "wrong" is how you learn
🔹 Asking for help is a sign of trust, not weakness
🔹 This isn't gym class. You're not being graded. You belong.

I used to hide in the back of yoga classes. Baggy clothes. Struggling to hold boat pose for 2 seconds. But I kept showing up. I asked questions. I found teachers I felt safe with. And I gave myself permission to take up space.

Want more tips on how to overcome gym anxiety? Lucky for you, I wrote a blog post just about this (🔗 in bio). Because you deserve to move and feel good doing it. https://kineticwellness716.com/overcoming-gym-intimidation/

💬 What's your biggest fitness intimidation? Let's talk about it.

Today is a sad day in Buffalo. 🦬 Does it matter considering the state of the world? Probably not, but we all like to find glimmers of hope that bring us joy and now that joy is gone for another year. So here’s a few quotes that hopefully will brighten your day a little bit.

And as always 💙❤️

Keeping December 2025 trips on my feed 💜💙
📍 NYC for the awards gala with my work wifey We didn’t win our award but the team was in fact wearing more sparkles. I also got to grab coffee with some connections and visit the Xmas market in Bryant park which was beautiful. Who knew less than 24hrs in NYC could be so enriching? I even sang karaoke for the first time.
Then I plane hopped right off to:
📍 Ft Worth TX with one of my other teams where the challenges have been numerous but the people are golden. It was great to know that when we step out from the zoom screen, I am in fact the shortest 😝 but hey I finally own a gorgeous cowboy hat and picked up a new travel buddy.

2026 is going to be even weirder, but I look forward to new places, new clients, new connections, and new adventures.

Better late than never. Ode to Elements Music & Arts Festival , you beautiful chaos 🌲✨

Look, I'm not trying to sound like a fitness influencer here, but real talk: all those workouts I'm always talking about on my stories? They're literally why I can still walk after dancing for 12 hours straight. My knees didn't give out once. That's a win in my book. Functional fitness is so important, so you can do what you love and your body can SURVIVE it. The first time I went to a fest (Electric Forest), my feet and legs almost got left in the forest because they were pi***ng me off. I had been working out, but I wasn't yet at goals and it stuck with me.

But honestly, what got ME was how this festival just got it. Morning yoga in the water stage, sound baths that made me cry (didn't see that coming), reiki sessions, massage tents, women's circles where we actually talked about real s**t. It wasn't just about the music; it was about taking care of the whole human. There were people grieving losses, people celebrating life, and everything in between.

And then at night? Dancing in the woods with a bunch of strangers who became friends, zero judgment, just pure "let me move my body however it wants to move" energy. That's the stuff that fills me up. Dancing like an insane weirdo, and everyone is just vibing with you while Shaq (DG Diesel) screams "MOSH PIT" 8,000 times.

I'm just really grateful my body lets me do this - travel, dance, stay up way too late, and actually recover. Taking care of myself means I get to show up for moments like these. And that feels pretty damn good. I can't wait for the next one.
More of this, please 💚
