I asked the cupping models what having “a modern body” means to them.

we live in a time where body image, image comparisons, and trends unfortunately have huge impact on human movement.

As a female personal trainer trying to create a brand that strays away from that path (or at least strives for balance) it’s important to me that ‘modern body’ stands as a symbol for all the things I want for a fitness community.

and hearing that the words modern and body together can have such beautiful words synonymous with it really lights a fire for me to keep bringing light, fun, and realness to myself, you guys, and our little brand ✨

and that’s on girlhood 💕

I talk ALOT about my girlfriends on this page because I think who you surround yourself with is important

and as it relates to fitness your vibe is your tribe!
if you want to run more- surround yourself with people who like to run
if you want to dance more ( which half the people in this video are 😛)- then surround yourself with people who like to dance!!

it starts slow- but it is very true, you become who you surround yourself with.

work on mobility 🫶🏽

Donne suffers from TOM syndrome aka tight old man syndrome (don’t get it twisted at 90 years old he’s one of my strongest senior clients)😛😘

if you stop moving your joints through their full range of motion, eventually you’ll get to a point where you’ll want to try thinking you still can, only to find out…..you done gone and got yourself stuck/stiff

we’ve been working on building a flexibility routine that he has memorized and does while he’s watching tv at home

that and having worked on understanding our core I feel confident Donne can move into more mobility work

this kneeling hip flexor stretch can also be done standing!
doesn’t matter if you’re 30 years old or 90.

it’s been a long time coming 🪩🎶
putting more effort into my everyday hair has been part of the “showing up for myself” glow up. (I haven’t decided on a name for this series so suggestions are welcome)

I have tried rods, bands, socks, mini rods…

and some of them worked, but my sleep was HORRIBLE
I’m a light sleeper so I needed something that was going to work and not disrupt my sleep.

guys, I think I found it 😛

between getting better at my own blowouts with the blow brush and this, I’m hoping I can really get a routine down I feel confident about 💕
