Hey all, good morning!
I'm starting to figure out this whole art contest a little bit more now. For starters a great organization that helps and supports the arts and artisits.
I entered into this thing a couple of weeks ago, and amongst all the health happenings, I was notified I was accepted. I had to quickly through up a profile, and then wait for the voting to open. Which it did, yesterday. I've sense tried to ad a little bit more to my profile. But after looking at mine and all the other artist, i think we're good. Pictures of my work, a little about my art, and what I would do with the $25k if I won.
So this contest runs for 10 days. And it's called the peoples choice, because it's you, the people, who vote for the winner. It's free and easy to vote and you can cast a new vote everyday. So I'm going to do my part, and share a link to vote, everyday, and if you are so inclined to cast your vote for me, well then, yay, and thank you. And also, check out the other artist, pretty amazing I think.
I know you're all probably a little tired of hearing from me by now. I didn't really realize util yesterday that a cancer diagnosis of someone you know might be equally scarry for you. Facing some hard things, etc. I'm sorry I haven't considered your feelings more in this situation, no, really, sincerely. I'm receiving this whole art contest as a beautiful distraction for me. I will try and get a little creative with my post each day, and of course, you are always free to unfollow me, what have you.
I wanted to offer a couple sage nuggets of wisdom, although the source is from that one guy I dated for 3 months that took me to Thailand and dumbed my ass at the airport on the trip home. All good, all forgiven. Well, this guy was a very successful business man, and by successful I mean money, maybe not character, lol He always said, you never make decisions after 5 pm, of good one, I can see this, he said nothing is that important that it couldn't wait until the next day. But the other nugget was always assume positive intent. Meaning, people are good, they have good intentions, they are not out to get you, etc. So I offer you these two gems, and I assume positive intent about you and I hope you feel that way about me.
My nugget of wisdom, and what i try and practice is "It cost you nothing to encourage someone else." I live by this one, and I will encourage the hell out of you, anytime any place!
So, these meds are still keeping up, trying to not resist, but use this sacred time for positive, creative endeavors. I hope your morning coffee is just how you like it and that you have a beautiful day ahead.
