Update:
Hello! I'm Rob McClurg, and for over three decades, I've immersed myself in the realms of visual and audio arts, leaving my mark through diverse creative ventures. Recently, battling the challenges of an incurable Cancer (ATLL) and the natural toll of years as an artist, creating has become more demanding. Despite this, I invite you to explore my creations and consider a custom piece.
As a fine artist, I work fluidly across mediums like oil, acrylic, charcoal, and clay, crafting pieces that merge craftsmanship with artistic vision. My journey also includes over 30 years as a tattoo artist, a chapter that sadly closed a few years back.
In visual arts, I specialize in a wide array of services, from Special Effects and Prosthetic Services to Character Design, Life Casts, Masks, and more. My expertise spans film, television, commercials, videos, and print, where I excel as both a fabricator and designer.
In audio arts, my path began with guitar lessons from Mark English of Monstrosity, evolving over the years to integrate spoken word into music and refine skills in audio engineering. Mentored by luminaries like CJ Szuter, Tim Aymar, and James Murphy, I've deepened my understanding of music composition and production.
Currently based in The Evergreen State, Washington, I drive "Consumed X Chemistry," an Old School American Metal Band fusing raw energy with artistic expression, reflecting my deep-rooted passion for metal.
Looking forward, post-pandemic, I'm dedicated to teaching and rediscovering the transformative power of music. Join me on this journey as I continue to create, inspire, and innovate in both visual and audio arts.
Thank you for your support,
Rob and Family
