It took me too many years to learn these few important facts:

1. Constant exhaustion is not normal 🥱
2. Your loved ones want you present 🤗
3. Be your authentic self - always ✨
4. Boundaries are beneficial, not selfish. đźš«
5. You are priority, and self care is not optional.

Today we honor the brave men and women who gave everything for others.

Their sacrifice is the reason we stand free.
Their courage will never be forgotten.

Forever remembered. Forever honored. ❤️

Strong women carry a lot in silence. 🤍

According to the National Library of Medicine, the majority of first responders facing mental health challenges never seek support, and nearly 30% of female first responders have struggled with mental health.

Because we are used to being

The strong one.
The helper.
The protector.

But even the strongest women deserve support too.

Beautiful. Brave. Resilient. also means giving yourself permission to heal. ✨

It like WHIPLASH....

Transitioning from shift as a female first responder to the roles at home can be a bigger jump the the best bungee cord.

It is crucial that we find a safe space, physically and mentally, to transition between these purposes in our lives. Music, breathing, time in car, short walks, podcast, call with friend....whatever fits you and your style find it and use it.

These times are necessary for our authentic self to be present in all areas of our lives.

Stay Beautiful. Stay Brave. Stay Resilient.

“Next to creating life, the finest thing a person can do is save one.” — Abraham Lincoln

For female first responders, that hits differently.

Many of us spend our lives caring for others both on and off duty.
We are mothers, daughters, wives, partners, sisters, and friends… while also being the ones people call on their worst day.

We know what it means to create life, nurture life, protect life… and sometimes, save it.

There is something incredibly powerful about women who can hold a child with tenderness and still stand strong in chaos when someone needs them most.
That balance is what makes female first responders so extraordinary.

Being a first responder takes pieces of you every single day.

Your compassion.
Your patience.
Your energy.
Your time.
Your peace.
Your mental and emotional strength.

You carry the weight of tragedy, chaos, heartbreak, and responsibility while still showing up for others on the worst days of their lives.

And somehow, through the exhaustion and sacrifice, you continue to serve with courage and heart.

Because this career is more than a paycheck or a title.
It is a calling.
A purpose.
An incredible honor and privilege to stand in the gap for people when they need someone most.

Not everyone is built for this life.
But those who are give parts of themselves to make a difference every single day.

Every female first responder carries two sides…
but they’re not as separate as they seem.

The strength, grit, and control we rely on at work,
they show up at home when life asks more of us than we feel ready to give.

And the compassion, intuition, and softness we carry off duty,
they’re the same things that guide us in the moments people need us most.

We don’t switch it off.
We don’t become someone else.

We learn to live in both.

To be strong and soft.
Grounded and compassionate.
Resilient and human.

It’s not always easy to hold that balance…
but it’s where our power is built.

Because every part of who you are
makes you better in every role you carry.
