These two cuties stole my heart 😍 Sonya won my latest tattoo raffle and wanted her babies created into a tattoo! I was giggling every time I looked at their facial expressions- this was SO MUCH FUN to do, and I'm so glad I was able to capture their little personalities. Daisy the mama bear and Lily the sweetie pie! Who else wants a pet portrait tattoo? 🐱 🐶 🦜 🐟️

My first go at a geometric piece! This client always knows exactly what he wants when he schedules with me- which is great! It's my job as an artist to be transparent and honest with each client. When faced with a new style- I ask myself a few things:
1) Is this tattoo within my abilities as I currently stand as an artist? I was recently reminded by someone with over 20 years of experience that "No" is a full sentence and always an option. If you are not confident, then the client won't be confident. It's not about the money- it's about the trust between client and artist. My name is attached to every tattoo I do- and I want people to only be impressed by my work.
2) Is this tattoo physically possible? AI has influenced a lot of people to believe we can just duplicate those created images on the skin, but technical application is a key part of the discussion of what can realistically be achieved.
3) What different or new technique do I need in order to give my client the best results? With new styles, I study the example photos and continue research on top of the references the client has provided. I could see that peppershading was used. Not a new technique altogether, but just different from my usual bold line and bold color work.
4) What is a reasonable price that works for me and the client? The client gets a great price since I'm new to this style, and I still feel like it's reasonable for my time and effort. Plus, I get to add something to my portfolio for future potential clientele.

Hi I'm Kat! Here's a little bit about me- your local crazy cat-loving tattoo lady of Las Vegas! A few things you should know about me:

1) I stand 10 TOES DOWN for equality and mutual respect. Being respectful to others even if you don't personally understand or relate to someone's identity, culture, or beliefs, is RULE #1. My Moto is- if they don't pay yo bills, feed you or f*** you- then guess what- their opinion on how you live your life or who you love DOESN'T MATTER. You do you boo!

2) I'm also a firm believer that if it sparks joy for your inner child- DO IT. The world is a burning mess and mundane adulthood robs us of our joy and leaves us uninspired. Not every tattoo needs to hold some deep sentimental meaning. Know what my favorite tattoo is?- a Rainbow Furby Mace.... it makes me happy every time I look at it ok! So go for the color, go for the niche, go for nerdy thing that makes you happy!

3) My studio is a safe space in the utmost sense. Need to cry? Need to vent? Need to let out the chisme? Need a hug? Big Mama got you! When you book an appointment with me- that is your time. Tattoos can literally be therapy when you need it. I love listening to people's stories because it reminds me that you never know what someone is going through- so lead with kindness. I hope always to have my clients leaving feeling lighter (maybe a lil sore from all the stabby needles) but lighter emotionally and spiritually. My space is protected and it's blessed me with all the right energy coming through that door.
