You will meet many people in your life that were raised differently than you, they go about life differently than you, they have different values, they have different beliefs, needs, wants, etc. Those differences are not wrong just because they’re different than yours. I recently met an inventor who was asked about his circle and whether his invention process isolated him. He said he had always been a bit of a loner, preferring quiet time to think. It’s taken him very far. He has over 100 patents and numerous awards. The person asking the question commented that they can’t imagine how hard that must be. It was just normal from the inventor’s perspective, and he wasn’t bothered in the least bit. I’ve also met people that won’t travel alone, go out alone, or venture into business alone. I’ve met people like this that often look at the loners in pity. But there’s nothing wrong with either and one’s way should not be forced onto the other. Learn to respect and appreciate the differences others operate in and who knows, it might be the start of something beautiful.
