I’ve been meaning to write a post about Little Seed Farm for quite some time and kept dropping the ball.

Ever since I opened the barn doors at Hidden Door Farm, I’ve been researching products made with goat milk and honestly hadn’t found anything I really loved—until now.

Little Seed Farm actually reached out to me about something completely unrelated, and James graciously allowed me to invite myself for a tour of their farm and production facility. Local friends—this gem is right down the road from us.

The farm is beautiful, the team is lovely, and the products are genuinely impressive. We’ve purchased quite a bit just to have on hand for guests, but I highly recommend visiting their website and checking out their soaps, salves, and skincare.

It’s always a win when we can support local here in Middle Tennessee—and for friends everywhere else, it’s an easy way to get your hands on truly well-made, thoughtful products.

This is so true of my barn. Prayers over every new life here, over all the unknowns all the prayers of gratitude and thankfulness. All the conversations with the Lord ❤️

If you don’t have a friend who will secretly stash a box of handpicked pieces of your favorite See’s Candies in one of your kitchen drawers for you to find after she leaves…

…you need to reevaluate your inner circle. Immediately. 🚨🍫

This is not a “nice gesture.”
This is elite-level friendship.
This is “I know your exact caramel-to-chocolate ratio preferences” kind of loyalty.

Find you a friend who:
• Knows your favorites without asking
• Hides snacks like a raccoon with a PhD in emotional support
• Leaves you surprises that heal your soul AND your sweet tooth

Because honestly?
That’s not a friend. That’s a lifestyle upgrade.

Thank you Stacey Smocer Pennington for all the sweet ways you love me.

Trying answer emails and questions on our available babies. Went down the rabbit hole of finding photos and found this video I took recently of our therapy whether Bruno and his nephew Randy. Love them ❤️

This is Queen — my incredible Mini LaMancha that I absolutely adore… and I’m convinced at this point she’s completely punking me.

Last year? She was bred the very first day with our buck and gave me the most textbook, effortless delivery of triplets at 143 days. I thought I had her figured out.

This year? Not so much.

Because of her behavior, we exposed her to the buck three separate times. Even if she settled on the last date, she’s already sitting at 155 days. One hundred fifty. Five. Days.

She is HUGE. Like… impressively, concerningly huge.

And while I am so grateful for any kids she blesses us with, Queen herself is far more precious to me than anything else. My biggest fear right now is a kid too large for her to safely deliver. Meanwhile, she’s completely unbothered. Eating, lounging, living her best life… while I slowly lose mine.

Adding to the drama—last year she delivered exactly one hour after Lilly arrived in Tennessee.

Well… Lilly arrives again in just a few hours.

So naturally, I’m sitting here like:
Alright Queen, your audience is on the way. Let’s do this.

Let the babies emerge ❤️
(Sincerely, a goat mom who very much needs sleep 😅)
