New Blog Post!
With all the hullabaloo about AI recently, and new worries over people using AI for therapy, I felt it's time to address my own thoughts about AI use.
This blog post explores some benefits and risks associated with using AI, and some suggestions on how to use AI for therapeutic benefit in a way that can be safe, helpful, and healthy.

Appearing professional is all a rouse. How am I expected to sit like a proper human all day? πŸ₯΄

I will sit in whatever weird way I want while catching up on admin work. 😀

Big Marker has been lying to you about their colors!
πŸ˜‚ JK

I've had so many conversations with clients, coworkers, and interns about marker caps not matching the color of the marker and this week it turned into a great conversation about trust issues and feeling the need to test every color before using it on a coloring page.

Therapy Lessons in Anime: Gachiakuta
As promised, the first in several lessons to come that we can gain from watching Gachiakuta.
A primary theme is trash: throwing out items, people, the creation of trash monsters, and recycling.

Rudo shows a care and love for items that are thrown out by others but still have use left in them, and uses his gloves to breathe new life into items to serve a purpose of protecting himself and his friends.
I love this idea that items and people are still usable and loveable even if they've been damaged in some way, and just need a little care and maybe a new purpose or direction. The show looks at this quite literally through both Rudo and Amo who were both given up by their families, placed into difficult situations, and had to learn to rely on themselves. Rudo was pieced back together and given new purpose with the help of Regto and, later the cleaners. And hopefully Amo will be given a new life too.

Stay tuned for more lessons from Gachiakuta!
