🎉♥️ HAPPY ONE YEAR, COMMUNITY SAFE HAVEN! ♥️🎉

One year ago today, we opened our doors with a dream and one simple belief: everyone deserves a place where they belong.

What started as an idea has grown into something more beautiful than we could have imagined — a community filled with friendships, laughter, learning, independence, adventures, and so many unforgettable memories.

But the greatest thing we’ve created this year is belonging. ♥️

To our participants — YOU are the heart of Community Safe Haven. Watching you grow, build friendships, and show the world everything you CAN do is why we do this.

To our families, staff, volunteers, donors, sponsors, community partners, and everyone who has believed in us — thank you. You helped make this dream possible.

One year down, and we’re just getting started! 🥹♥️

So what did we do, We celebrated of curse! Thank you Branch Bowling Alley for accommodating for our large group! Their serving staff is phenomenal ♥️.

Today was THE BEST DAY! ♥️

We started our morning with some relaxing yoga and then broke into groups for a busy afternoon!

💐 One group created beautiful flower arrangements for the Moose Lodge.

🛍️ The other group took a very special trip to Round Hill Farm to Trail Co. to drop off our handmade merchandise that they will now be selling for us!

Seeing the things our participants work so hard to create being displayed and sold out in our community is such an exciting milestone for Community Safe Haven. We are SO excited for this partnership!

This group amazes us every single day. ♥️ We couldn’t be prouder!

Man oh man, what a day! Today, we started our day off with our weekly cooking lesson. It changes weekly, this week it was chicken veggie ranch wrap!With a side of fries! SO GOOD!
We also, prepped the tacos for Leesburg Moose Lodge 1041 taco Tuesday! Thanks for giving us a hob skill! Fun fact, some of those tomatoes and jalapeños are from the garden we grew in the back of the lodge!
After, we got on our dancing shoes and did group Zumba! Omg, hilarious and a great workout! By hilarious I mean, Ms.Becky and Ms.Caitlin’s dance moves 😂

🌮 TACO TUESDAY — Community Safe Haven style! 🌮

Today was such a FUN day — and a little bit of a test! 😉 Time to see just how much we’ve been paying attention during all of our taco-making days!

The Moose Lodge asked our crew to prepare the tacos they’ll be serving tonight for Taco Tuesday… and of course, we said YES! 🙌🌮

🧤 Gloves — CHECK!
😂 Funny hairnets — CHECK!
🌮 Taco-making skills — CHECK!
❤️ Memories — ALWAYS!

We love opportunities like this where our participants get to put their cooking, kitchen hygiene, teamwork, and job skills to work for our community!

And we finished off the day with adapted fitness with the one and only Mr. Josh! 💪❤️

Another great day of learning, laughing, and giving back at Community Safe Haven!
