Imagine being bitten by a snake 🐍.
Instead of treating the wound, you start chasing the snake, screaming, “Why did you bite me? What did I do to deserve this?”
But while you chase it, the poison keeps spreading inside you.
This is how many people suffer in life.
They replay the betrayal.
They obsess over closure.
They keep reopening the pain, hoping the person who hurt them will finally explain, apologize, or understand.
But healing does not begin when the other person changes.
It begins when you stop chasing what already wounded you.
Not every hurt will receive an answer.
Not every betrayal will come with remorse.
And not every person who caused pain will care about the damage they created.
Peace comes when you choose to protect your inner world instead of pursuing revenge, validation, or explanations.
Treat the wound.
Rest the mind.
Release the poison.
Because some battles are not won by chasing the snake…
they are won by walking away and healing in silence. 🌿✨
