Your nervous system doesn't care how clean your house is. It cares if it feels safe to land.
Most spaces are built for function… for storage, speed, doing things. Not for downshifting.
So even when you're "resting," your body is still slightly braced. Still scanning. Still on.
You don't have to redesign anything. Pick one corner. A blanket. A lamp. A spot that says: this one is for coming down.
That signal matters more than you'd think.
