We see the need and want to help fill the gap. 🫶🏾

Golden Hour Counseling Co. is excited to introduce Golden Hour Mothers Circle — a summer support group designed with moms in mind.

Think structured process group meets meaningful community.

Together, we’ll explore real-life experiences that impact mothers every day, including:

✨ overstimulation and emotional exhaustion
✨ the invisible mental load
✨ relationships & intimacy after motherhood

This isn’t about being a “perfect mom.” It’s about having a space where you can show up honestly, feel supported, and connect with other women who truly get it.

Our goal is to create a warm, intentional community where moms can learn, reflect, share, and leave feeling a little less alone.

If you’re interested in joining us this summer, scan the QR code, DM us for more information or complete the interest form using the link below.

Stay tuned y’all summer is only just beginning. ☀️✨

Honored to be featured on KATV discussing maternal mental health and the importance of supporting mothers throughout the perinatal journey.

Maternal mental health matters and not just during pregnancy and the postpartum period, but throughout the transition into motherhood.

Too many mothers struggle in silence with anxiety, depression, overwhelm, burnout, and the invisible emotional labor that often accompanies parenting. These experiences are common, but they should never be faced alone.

I was grateful for the opportunity to share information about maternal mental health, the importance of early recognition and support, and the role that community, providers, and loved ones play in helping mothers thrive.

I also highlighted the invaluable role doulas play in maternal care. Doulas are uniquely positioned to notice changes early, provide support, and help families connect with resources because of the trusting relationships they build with mothers throughout pregnancy and postpartum.

Thank you to KATV for helping bring awareness to a conversation that affects so many families.

Hey yall! It’s been awhile! For the new faces I’m Alexandria the owner and therapist at Golden Hour Counseling!

My goal with starting this practice was to hold space for new, seasoned and expecting mamas and women (I see men and couples too!) Sometimes it can be hard to find a warm space where you can be authentic and show up how you are.

I specialize in perinatal mental health (conception through postpartum) and trauma (bc let’s be real we all have some)!

Feel free to say hey in the comments or drop me DM if you have questions! 🫶🏾✨

A few more things I absolutely do not care about in therapy:

• If your house is messy
• If you’re still in your pajamas
• If you haven’t “figured it out yet”
• If you’re healing slower than you thought.
✨Therapy is a place for vulnerability, healing, and safety. Showing up is the hardest part so show up how you need to!

Snow days can bring up more than coziness… especially f your nervous system is already on edge.

If the storm has you feeling anxious or restless try letting today be smaller.

A few grounding reminders:
• Warm your body before your to-do list
• Limit doom-scrolling weather updates
• Breathe low and slow into your belly
• Rest without needing to justify it

You don’t need to be productive in survival mode.
Sometimes regulation looks like stillness.

Stay warm. Stay gentle.
Golden Hour is here for you 🤎✨
