As some of ya’ll guessed/ knew, I just came back from my obligatory 20’s Japan trip! Lol. Gosh I haven’t been there in like. 10 years. Alot changed and alot hadn’t but its felt good to be back. It reminded me my appreciation of architecture and history, walking through places literally so much older than the States is wild if you think about it. 😳. So heres my photo dump and little descriptions thanks! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ
Sensō-ji temple entrance.
Sensō-ji temple cast bronze statues from 1587
Sensō-ji temple
Me at this cute English cafe we found just before going to our tea-ceremony where we dressed in kimonos. We miss-timed it and had to chug a hot mug of coffee.
The Crow™️- he owned the streets.
One of many trains we took. Believe it or not we only made one wrong train the whole time!
Our Shinkansen ride to Kyoto.
(Damn what a sick photo) Nothing like stumbling upon a temple in Kyoto when on your way to a different temple.
Just. What in the fairy garden🥺
More simple tori gate
I had no idea there were such painted buildings like these. Reminded me how Greek statues arent actually white originally 🤔
Lil dragon guy.
Just a side garden infront of the temple gate. Not even the actual garden. I need this to be my backyard.
Then total 180 back to Tokyo. 36th floor in Nishishinjuku🔥. Its so crazy how the culture has such traditional minimalist nature values coupled with today’s industrial hardcore consumerism.
Memory Lane. Just kind stumbled on it.
Kabuchiko. Just nightlife crazy. We went to a local okonomiyaki restaurant and got sat at the “kids table” so the owner(?) could make us our food cause we didnt know how to do it ourselves 💀
SUMO TOURNAMENT DAY 13 at Ryogoku Kokugikan Sumo Arena. Best event by far we got so invested omg.
Look at that tree. Whats it doin up there?
