June 14th, we head outside for the annual floating sound bath at the private Pleasant Ridge Community Center.

Feel the soft breeze as it kisses your cheeks and the lovingly embrace of nature as she wraps her arms around you.

Here, on a massage table…

I shed the stress, tension, anxiety that I have been carrying

The toxins that keep me from showing up the way I want to

With ease, fully authentic

I make it a priority to get on this table once a month

And I can tell if I’ve waited too long

I get agitated, stiff, annoyed

I feel it in my shoulders, my lower back, my thoughts, how I communicate

And there times when I leave and I can literally feel how much weight I was carrying, how much negative energy was trapped inside

So I decided a long time a go that this is a self-care ritual that I will carry with me forever

It always leads me back to freedom
