I haven’t been on this page for a while because it hurts my heart to see how poor Poppi’s health was, and it just reminds me how sad things have been. BUT I wanted to give yall a big update.

Since surgery she has been doing so good. We went for a follow up this week in Columbus and her doctor there was so pleased with her overall health.

God healed my baby and I believe that with everything in me.

We will continue to have follow up scans just to be sure.

Poppis 2nd birthday is less than a month away. This year has been so tough on her but she fought and won!

I’ve had a couple of people ask me if she’s having a birthday party, as much as we would love to we’re still healing and we don’t feel like it’s in her best interest.

I made a list of things she loves, music, animals and anything to do with cooking, andddd we’re going to try and start potty training. 😅

Poppi update.

Last week we were in Columbus. She had an MRI, Echo, and she had surgery Friday.

She had 2 long tumors cut out the side of her neck. Results have been sent to pathology and to the tumor board.

We will know more then about her Neuroblastoma.

She’s recovering. She’s tired. We’re all tired.

Please keep her in your prayers.

We don’t talk about this enough.

The guilt.
The heartbreak.
The way it feels to hold your child down for labs or procedures. Whispering “I’m so sorry” while they cry.

You see the fear in their eyes every time a doctor walks in.
You know they’ve been through more in their little life than some adults go through in decades.
And it shatters you…every single time.

We wish we could trade places.
We wish we could take it all away.
We carry guilt for things we can’t control, because that’s what moms do.

But here’s the truth:
You are not failing them.
You are their safe place.
Their advocate.

To every medical mom out there…
You are doing enough.
And you’re not alone.




Next week is going to be an extremely long week, it will be draining. Mentally, and physically exhausting as we will be at Nationwide Children’s hospital. A week full of new scans, cardiac tests, and surgery with a long recovery. Please keep her in your prayers and for a speedy recovery.

Long overdue Poppi update.

Poppi has had 2 more rounds of chemo treatments. She’s been handling things like a trooper! She’s always so smiley and funny!

She’s had an MRI and MIBG scans and the results weren’t what we wanted. The cancer on her right side has shrunk but not more than 50% like we hoped and the mass on her left side has grown. Again, not what we hoped for but some shrinkage is better than none.

We will be traveling to Columbus to Nationwide Children’s hospital coming up for a new MRI and to have surgery. We will be there roughly 9 days. The surgery they will be doing is to try and get most of the masses out as possible.

We continue to desire your prayers. Poppi is a tough girl but it’s not fair. We’re still claiming life and a healing over our babygirl! 🎗️🩷
