As they don’t like vinegar and will avoid coming in contact with it, it makes a great option for keeping felines from scratching up your furniture.

-dilute the vinegar in water inside of a spray bottle, using a 50/50 ratio
-spray a small amount on the area that your cat tends to scratch

If you have a problem with cats using your yard or other outdoor areas as a toilet, you can also soak a sponge in vinegar and place it there to keep them away.

Do you reach for a donut every day at 3 p.m.? Pick up your phone every time it buzzes? Turn on the television as soon as you get home from work? These are a few of the subconscious routines that may be sabotaging you.

To begin, stop and think about the triggers in your life. When do you feel the most stressed? Unhappy? Frustrated? How do you cope with those negative feelings? Are there any cue/routine patterns you can identify that are holding you back?

Recognizing these stressors in your life can help you spot unproductive responses you may want to change, such as unhealthy food choices or negative self-talk.
- Create a list of the cues you’ve identified, and review it every morning as soon as you wake up. Setting a reminder can help you with this.
- Record your emotions and reactions. Review it regularly and you’ll soon see where you can make positive changes in your life.

Relaxing Ways to use Essential Oils
Eucalyptus oil

Eucalyptus Oil has antibacterial and antiseptic properties. It is the main component of cough drops and vaporubs. It is also a great remedy for sinus infections. It is used from nearly 2 centuries for treating cold, nasal congestion, bronchitis, congestion of the upper respiratory tract and promotes better sleep.
Eucalyptus oil combats inflammation of the lungs and stimulates the immune system. It acts against the virus causing cold and provides relief.

Ingredients:
-4 ounces of distilled water
-A bowl to boil the water
-Eucalyptus essential oil
-A clean cloth

Preparation:
-Boil the water till there is enough steam coming off it
-Add 3 to 4 drops of eucalyptus oil to the water
-Inhale the steam with a cloth over your head with the bowl inside the cloth
-Inhale the steam with your nose for about 5 to 8 minutes
-You can do this twice a day, though doing this just before going to bed promotes better sleep.
