My current breakfast obsession 🤍
These protein oats are creamy, cozy, super filling!
One little trick that makes SUCH a difference:
Mix your protein powder separately with water first before adding it into the oats. It makes everything smooth and creamy instead of dry or clumpy.
RECIPE:
• 1/2 cup rolled oats
• 3/4 cup water
• splash of almond milk
• 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
• 3–4 tbsp water
• frozen blueberries
• 1 tbsp almond or peanut butter
• drizzle of maple syrup
Directions:
Microwave oats + water for 2 minutes.
Stir and add a splash of almond milk.
In a separate cup, mix protein powder with water until creamy and smooth. Add into oats and microwave another 30 seconds.
Top with blueberries, almond butter, and a little maple syrup.
Approx:
35g protein
350–400 calories depending on toppings ✨
