Marissa Hutter Ayurveda Ayurveda, the 5,000 + year old healing science from India, is NOT a diet, but a way of life. This ancient wisdom restores the body's natural balance.

It goes beyond the symptoms to heal root causes

Stop for a breath.

Imagine what would it feel like to be deeply satiated -- in body, mind and soul.

What could you create in your life from THAT place?

To feel satiated in your life, you need to respond to the needs of your body, first and foremost. As you age, your body needs more dedicated attention and support. The symptoms you experience are your body’s way of asking (ok, maybe demanding) that support. The closer you listen to your body, the quicker you can make adjustments, and reset.

Yes, you can age gracefully. You just need help moving your body out of survival mode. To be willing to go deep. A supportive community + 1:1 coaching will take you further than you ever dreamed you were capable of on your own.

Are you ready for a total mind and body reset?

10 things you wouldn’t know by looking at me (in no particular order)!

1. I have a tendency to show up in foreign countries with a backpack 🎒and no reservations (although this is getting harder and harder to do these days!)

2. I’m really into Insecure and Cobra Kai🐍Different vibes but get so excited about both of them

3. I somehow convinced my mom to drive me to swim practice at 5:30 am in high school. She was very happy when I got my driver’s license. Unfortunately, I had to bike to practice well before sunrise in college. It was really cold 🥶

4. I lived in Colombia 🇨🇴 for 2 years and finally learned to salsa dance

5. I get incredibly seasick…the last time I ventured on a ⛵️, I vomited so many times that my friend wouldn’t let me get back on to go home. Instead, we hiked for hours over slippery rocks in flip flops and intermittent 🌧 and then hitched the rest of the way.

6. Sunrise is my favorite time of day🌄

7. I can’t wink, whistle, or raise an eyebrow. I’m pretty sad about that 😉

8. Throughout my life, I’ve been on the following teams in this order: gymnastics, karate, softball, swimming (for 10 years), and triathlon. In my next life, I want to do ballet and lyrical 🩰

9. I’ve been an elementary school teacher for 15 years! 📝

10. Historical fiction is my favorite genre📖

Your turn! Let’s go beyond the surface.

Tell me something I wouldn’t know by looking at you! 👀

Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New year

We dip apples in honey, as a symbol for a sweet new year ahead. I think we could all use some more sweetness in our lives. If that resonates, join the apple dipping tradition 🍏🍯🍎

I love having two times of the year marked for me to stop and reflect. I no longer go to temple. It doesn’t resonate with me. As an adult, I’ve had the opportunity to recreate the ways I celebrate and honor my heritage, in a way that truly satiates my soul.

My ritual is to go on a solo hike, something that helps me feel really grounded and present. There’s this beautiful tradition that in the 10 days between Rosha Hashana and Yom Kippur, you make amends with anyone you have wronged. There is literally time carved out of the year to fix what you have damaged. It’s not a choice, but a requirement.

What would it look like to step into each new year, free of animosity, guilt, and anger? What if we could truly open our hearts, not just to those who think like we do, but to those that don’t?

The only thing we can change is our own heart. This year especially, I put even greater emphasis on that wisdom, as I strive to enter this next year with more light and love than ever before.

In Hebrew there’s a phrase Tikkun Olam. It means to repair the world.

So, on my sunrise hike this morning, I sat with the ways I can minimize my footprint on our precious earth and how to leave the world healthier and happier than when I came.

Have a sweet sweet new year 🍯

Not as easy as it sounds.

The thing is, when you listen to the inner critic that viciously whispers you are not enough, you energetically (and not so subtly) declare to the universe that you are willing to settle for less. And not surprisingly, more of that comes your way.
Yes there will always be someone smarter and more talented. Fabulous. Reach out to them. Learn from them. The day you are the smartest one in the room, is the day you need to find a new room.

Know your worth sounds simple. But I know I’ve struggled with this, and I’m gonna guess many of you have too. We’re raised in a capitalistic society that promotes comparison and perfection.

Truly valuing yourself has nothing to do with being perfect or being the best at anything. It’s about KNOWING what YOU bring to the table. It’s understanding that although we are all having this human experience, your role is unique to you.

Yes, always strive to grow and learn and expand. But own who you are and how you’ve chosen to dance on this earth. Enter every conversation, interaction, business endeavor, relationship with love by honoring what you bring to the table. You are worth it!

Keeping in mind the ways you’ve undervalued yourself in the past, how will you NOW show up for yourself this week?
