Something every girl deserves? ✨

A space that reminds her of who she is.

A space that pours into her confidence, self-worth, emotional wellness, and inner voice.

A space where she feels seen, supported, and empowered alongside other girls.

That’s the heart behind our upcoming Rise & Shine Empowerment Circle 💛

Join us in Los Angeles for this in person empowerment workshop for girls ages 12–17 centered around confidence, self-esteem, body positivity, connection, and meaningful tools they can carry into friendships, challenges, and everyday life.

Spots are intentionally limited.

So many girls are told they just need to be more confident.

But the truth is, it’s not always about confidence.

It’s about the way she speaks to herself in the quiet moments…

when she feels insecure, compares herself, or starts to doubt who she is.

And when that inner voice starts to become more supportive instead of critical, everything else starts to shift too.

I’m holding a small empowerment circle on May 24 for girls ages 12 to 17, centered around exactly this work.

A space where girls can feel seen, supported, and more secure in who they are.

What our daughters feel the most isn’t what we tell them.

It’s how we actually live.

If we’re stretched thin and disconnected from ourselves, they take that on.

But when we choose ourselves with intention..

Even in the smallest ways..

We model truth.

The message we want our daughters to internalize..

“You are, and always have been worthy, even in the moments you forget.”

Mama, keep choosing yourself, even in small ways.

It changes everything.

For you, and for her.

It’s wild how much shifts when you give your mind a moment to breathe.

Yoga supports your mood, focus, memory, and overall emotional grounding.

Your brain loves this version of you!

It’s so powerful when we start understanding our unique layers.

More and more, I’m starting to understand that my people pleasing was never about keeping the peace.

It was about feeling safe.

It was me trying to manage other people’s disappointment so I didn’t have to sit with the old fear of being emotionally abandoned.

That was my nervous system stepping in to protect me.

And now that I’ve become aware of it, I’m unlearning and rewiring.

I’m letting people have their own reactions and reminding myself that their disappointment is not mine to carry.

I don’t have to change who I am to feel safe.

Sounds simple enough, but when a way of being, created from a place of survival is engrained in us, the tendencies run deep.

I don’t have to agree, go with the flow or say “yes”. I don’t have to smile and say something’s ok, when it’s not. I don’t have to sugar coat something because being direct may come off as too harsh.

For so long, I tied disappointing others with the fear of emotional abandonment…

Like being my full self meant I could lose love.

We condition ourselves to be acceptable, pleasant and likable to others, and over time these wounds hinder us shining our true light. We slowly become less and less of who we really are.

The biggest blessing is the awareness and leaning into the truth..

that the more I stand in who I actually am, the less lonely it feels.

The more freedom and peace I’m living in.

And the truth is we are not responsible for anyone else’s disappointment.

And if you feel into this… I see you.

This little girl was 10.
5th grade.
She was so excited about her new bodysuit and outfit she got for her birthday.

She was particular about her hair.. half up/half down, every single day… with plenty of hairspray.

She loved playing with friends down the street, riding bikes, kickball and anything else she could think of until the street lights came on.

Pretty typical for a ten-year-old.

But inside, she cared a little too much.

Always tuned in.
Always noticing.

She was hyper-focused on being the good girl, the peacemaker.
Highly skilled at reading a room.

She could sense other people’s moods before they even spoke.

The patterns started early.

She quickly learned to feel responsible for everyone else’s emotions.

That sensitivity became people pleasing.

If everyone around her was okay, she felt safe.

Somewhere along the way, that little girl grew up.

Fast-forward 33 years later…

Realizing that little girl was living in survival. What she thought she needed to do to feel safe.

And today, still on this journey of releasing the parts of me who self abandoned to keep the peace.

Unlearning the bu****it that taught me being agreeable was the same as being kind.

Learning that honoring my soul may also mean disappointing other people, and that’s okay.

The truth that I’m not here to be liked. I’m here to be authentic. Real.

I’m safe even when I’m not liked.

I’m here to speak my truth.

To live in alignment, even when it ruffles feathers.

To choose peace within, not just around me.

Most importantly, I’m showing my daughters what it means to turn inward.

To trust their own voice over validation.

To look inside themselves for direction instead of searching for it in everyone else.

Loving all the parts of who we are. Our shadows, light and everything in between. This is healing and breaking cycles. It’s a bumpy road, but worth all the discomfort in the process.

Most of us don’t realize how much the body stores, especially in the hips.

The hips are connected to emotion, safety, and movement.

When we experience things like trauma, grief, fear, shame or the emotions we didn’t feel safe to feel, that energy doesn’t just disappear.

It finds a place to live, and often, that’s in this area.

Over time, the hips can hold layers of emotion and protection we didn’t even realize we were carrying.

That’s why sometimes, you may notice that a simple stretch or yoga pose can bring up feelings we weren’t expecting.

Pigeon Pose is one of many tools that can help your body start to release.

When we approach the body with curiosity instead of control, it starts to release.

That’s where your sacred conversation begins.

A quiet one between you and your body.

A moment to listen, to notice, to meet yourself with compassion.

The more we listen, the more our body trusts us to let go.

If you’ve been feeling disconnected or tense, I invite you to try easing into gentle movement that opens the hips.

Maybe a few slow stretches or eventually Pigeon Pose when your body feels ready.

Our bodies are waiting to share messages with us.

If a few words of grounding feel supportive, this mantra always helps me reconnect:

I release what no longer serves me. I am safe in my body.
I am home within myself.

Trying to be the best woman and mom can be a trap.

I don’t mean the best in a competitive way..

Rather the unrealistic expectations that we place on ourselves.

Because in chasing “best,” we start disappearing.

Piece by piece, we lose sight of the woman we were before the lists, the schedules, the constant giving.

We stop hearing our own voice.

We start believing our worth is measured by how much we do, how well we hold it all together.

But the people who truly love you..

the ones who truly see you..
don’t love you for your spotless kitchen or your endless yes.

They love you at your fullest.

And that fullness only comes when you slow down, tune in, and trust yourself.

The rest?
They weren’t loving you.
They were loving what you did to keep their world comfortable.

Fill your cup.
Let the right people celebrate it.

If this is the reminder you needed today…

RECLAIM was created for you.

A sixweek journey for the mom who’s ready to stop disappearing into the roles and start living as her fullest self again.

Comment RECLAIM and I’ll send you the details.

You’ve done it all.

You’ve held it together when you were crumbling.

You’ve been there for everyone even when it left you empty.

You’ve smiled when it stung.

You’ve been the glue, the planner and the peacekeeper.

But tell me..
when was the last time you asked yourself what you needed?

Not what needed to get done.

Not what would make things easier for everyone else.

But what would feel true for you?

Because here’s the thing:

You’re not just tired.
You’re carrying decades of people pleasing, perfection, proving your worth through achievements..

and patterns that didn’t even start with you.

And not just yours.

You’re carrying the silence of women who came before you.

The pressure. The protection. Cycles passed down like heirlooms.

You may be the first in your lineage to tune in and trust that you can be self honoring and feminine at the same time.

And it’s not your fault.
But it is your invitation.

To pause.
To get honest.

To choose yourself..

even when it may disappoint others.

The shift begins the moment you stop ignoring your inner knowing…

And start remembering:

You’re allowed to choose you.

Without guilt.
Without explaining.
Without anyone else’s permission.

✨ It’s time to reclaim what’s always been yours.

✨ Reclaim is a 6-week journey for women who are ready to choose themselves.

Deeply, unapologetically, and on their own terms.

Coming soon.

If this spoke to you, comment RECLAIM and I’ll make sure you’re the first to know when this sacred space opens.
