Are photos really dead? Let’s try it! 👉🏻 5 reasons why you’re not seeing physical results ⬇️
1️⃣ You’re using a macro calculator to figure out how many calories you should be consuming. Sorry, Love but there’s WAY more to it then just entering your age, height, current weight, and goal weight. Work with a progressional to assess your goals, lifestyle, hunger cues, preferences, and to get customized macros.
2️⃣ Your diet is so restricted 🚫 that you end up binging or completely sabotaging yourself because you’re starving or lacking joy.
2️⃣ You eat clean during the week 🥑🥦🍎🥩🥗🍣🍷, but then your weekend looks like this 🌯🌮🍕🍟🍔🍻🍷🍹. It’s totally ok to eat fun foods, but try to stick with the 80/20 rule to still see progress.
3️⃣ You’re not focusing on progressive overload in the gym. You can achieve progressive overload through increasing your weight, reps, sets, TUT (time under tension) aka slowing down your tempo, or by decreasing your rest times.
4️⃣ You’re changing up your workouts too often. Practice makes progress - follow a structured program and STICK with it!
5️⃣ You’re impatient. Building muscle takes time! Way more time than you think, so be patient and try to focus on all of the other benefits you’re receiving from eating well and working out such as your energy levels, improved digestion, increased s*x drive, quality of sleep, gaining strength and endurance, mental clarity, better mood, how your clothes fit, etc.
