I'm often asked what I think about the war in Ukraine lately. Short answer - I'm against it! If you want to know more about my opinion, scroll through the carousel.
My Instagram has always been exclusively about my creativity. And I never thought that I would speak here on a political topic ... But I realized that I just can't stay silent any longer. It's monstrous and it breaks my heart!

Приходит как-то Сталин с утра в штаб, и говорит Молотову: "представляешь, мне сегодня сон приснился, что Москва и Минск бомбят Киев, а Берлин призывает их остановится".
Этот печальный анекдот, как нельзя лучше, описывает мое недоумение от ситуации. Сюрреалистический хоррор - так бы я описала происходящее, если бы меня попросили сказать это в двух словах.
Никак не могу избавится от чувства, что Путин изнасиловал историю и общемировой порядок, установившийся после окончания Второй мировой войны.
Похоже теперь, столько лет спустя, русские забыли, что война - это смерть.
Они оправдывают это борьбой с неонацизмом, но у войны нет оправдания!
Гаагский суд, а не военное насилие - вот что должно происходить с нацистами в цивилизованном мире. А это самосуд и дикарство.
Ну, что ж, я надеюсь, что теперь Путин все же окажется в суде. Но не как пострадавший, а как обвиняемый. Как военный преступник, которым он несомненно является.
Я осуждаю это. И до сих пор я не могу поверить в то, что это случилось и продолжается прямо сейчас, что в это вовлечена моя Родина.
В первые в жизни мне стало стыдно говорить, что я русская.
Мне просто невыносимо сейчас быть русской, и носить украинскую фамилию!
И мне кажется, что русские люди ещё многие десятилетия или даже столетия не отмоются от этого позора.
Стыд на нас!

I rarely finish my sketches to the final result, like most tattoo artists who do custom tattoos. And often, it looks more like a diagram than a drawing. Just simple line work without any shading. This allows me to save a lot of time, and the project can be done quickly. It also leaves room for imagination when I'm making a tattoo. And the tattoo is done with more passion.
But sometimes, it's hard to decide to get a tattoo when a sketch is as raw as this Cosmic Fox, done quickly with a pencil and compass. Thank you for trusting me, Svetlana ✊
When I get trust to work from raw sketches, you get the best result cause I get inspired deeply by more freedom you give me, guys, thank you for that 🙌

There is one special expression in Russian language - горы по колено. When you are so inspired that nothing can stop you! ᕙ (͡◉ ͜ ʖ ͡◉) ᕗ
We call this feeling Knee-high mountains.
When you are like a giant, so huge that mountains can reach only your knee.
This tattoo is about the fact that if you keep your spirits high, believe in yourself and keep going, then you can overcome all obstacles that lie in your path, and reach that unreachable star, your cherished goal ✩

This was the first time I had a chance to make a portrait of an real animal, and not just an abstract one 😀🎨
Also for the first time I tried to combine two completely different styles in one work - graphics and realism 🤓
This is a cat Marquis. The cat owner, Regina, showed me a lot of pictures of her. And while we were choosing a photo for tattoo, I got a vision of her. And I learned a lot about her character. It even seemed that I personally knew this cat 🙃 It helped me a lot to recreate her features.
Now a part of Marquis will forever remain with Regina, despite the fact that the cat is already passed away 😭

Anyone who has reached the summit at least once knows how difficult it is when you think, "Oh my god, I can't take another step." But still you keep going up. And what bliss awaits at the top - to know that you can! And as a prize, you get a great view 🏔️👀
And that's why I love mountains - they test you for strength, and with each new peak you become stronger!
In any season!
And what about you, guys? Do you like mountains? What are the last mountains you have been on?
Каждый, кто хоть раз покорял вершину, знает, как это трудно, когда ты думаешь: "О, боже я не могу сделать больше ни одного шага". Но все же продолжаешь идти вверх. Но какое блаженство ждёт на вершине - знать, что ты смог! И как приз получить великолепный вид 🏔️👀
И именно за это я и люблю горы - они проверяют тебя на крепкость, и с каждой новой вершиной ты становишься сильнее!
