If you're confused, that's definitely love. πŸ₯€πŸ–€

The heart doesn't lie. It just speaks a language the mind can't translate.

Let me tell you something about love.

People think love is supposed to make sense. They think you should be able to list the reasons.

They're beautiful. They're kind. They make me laugh. They get me.

But here's the thing.

None of that is actually love.

Empathy is loving someone because they love you first. That's just mirroring.

Obsession is loving someone for their face or their body. That fades.

Interest is loving someone for what they can give you. That's not love. That's a transaction.

Admiration is loving someone for their goodness. That's respect. Important. But still not love.

So what is love then?

Love is the one you can't explain.

It's the person who makes no sense on paper. Wrong timing. Wrong circumstances. Maybe even wrong for you on paper.

But your heart doesn't care about paper.

Your heart just stays.

Quietly. Messily. Without explanation.

And that's how you know.

If you're confused about why you love them β€” if you've tried to walk away but couldn't, if you've tried to find the words but nothing fits right β€”

That's not a problem.

That's the proof.

That's definitely love. πŸ₯€πŸ–€

Love is messy. Let me explain.

If you love someone because they love you back, that's not love. That's empathy. You're responding to their feelings, not feeling your own.

If you love someone for their looks, that's not love either. That's obsession. It fades the moment something changes.

If you love someone for what they have β€” money, status, a nice car β€” that's not love. That's interest. And interest leaves when the benefits dry up.

If you love someone for their kindness, that's beautiful. But it's admiration. Admiration respects from a distance. Love stays close.

So what is love then?

Love is the one you can't explain.

It's the person who doesn't check any of your boxes but checks every corner of your heart. It's the relationship that makes no sense on paper but makes all the sense in the world at 2 a.m. when you can't sleep because you're thinking about them.

Love isn't logical. It doesn't have to be.

If you're reading this and you're confused about why you love someone β€” if you've tried to walk away but couldn't, if you've tried to explain it but the words don't come out right β€” that's not a sign that something is wrong.

That's the sign that it's real.

The confusion is the proof. πŸ’”
