PulseWave isn’t for every type of pain—and that’s important.
PulseWave shockwave therapy uses acoustic pressure waves to deliver mechanical energy to targeted tissues. It’s different from a massage gun, ultrasound, or electrical stimulation.
Shockwave therapy has been studied for several musculoskeletal conditions, particularly certain persistent tendon and soft-tissue problems. Depending on the individual patient, it may be considered for conditions such as:
• Plantar fasciopathy / persistent heel pain
• Achilles tendinopathy
• Patellar tendinopathy
• Tennis elbow
• Certain shoulder tendinopathies
But the machine itself isn’t the treatment plan.
At Re-LAX Chiropractic + Wellness, we first evaluate what may actually be causing your symptoms and determine whether PulseWave—or another approach—is appropriate for you.
The goal is simple: the right treatment for the right condition, not the same treatment for every pain.
