1 kilometre in the water. Every single day. Without fail.
This is my daily destressor — the one thing that resets my nervous system, clears my head, and keeps me grounded no matter what else is going on.
We all need something like this. A non-negotiable movement practice that isn’t about punishment or perfection, but about showing up for ourselves.
As a holistic health coach, this is the kind of simple, sustainable foundation I help my clients build — because when your body feels safe and supported, everything else gets easier.
And it’s why I’ve spent years making It Takes Guts — a character-driven, heartfelt feature documentary currently in post-production.
The film follows real people reclaiming their health through the power of the microbiome. Incredible healing journeys with Crohn’s, C. diff, autism, epilepsy, bipolar, Tourette’s, ulcerative colitis, and more — woven with clear, hopeful education about microbes and gut health.
We’re raising funds and awareness right now to complete the full feature-length edit so these stories can reach the people who need them most.
If you’re ready for your own reset — better energy, calmer digestion, clearer mind, and habits that actually stick — I’d love to work with you.

Meet Vicki.
She’s about to swallow the most hideous liquid of her life — the bowel prep pills for her FMT with pioneering Dr Thomas Borody at the Centre for Digestive Diseases in Sydney.
This short clip is from Takes Guts — the feature-length documentary currently in post-production. It’s packed with real, character-driven healing stories of people with Crohn’s, ulcerative colitis, C. diff, autism, epilepsy, bipolar, Tourette’s and more… plus powerful education on the microbiome and gut health.
We’re raising funds and awareness to finish the full film and get these life-changing stories out into the world.
If you’ve ever felt like the gut holds answers medicine is still catching up to, this one’s for you.

Another powerful short from the upcoming feature documentary Takes Guts.
Professor Faming Zhang — Chief of Microbiota Medicine at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University and a global pioneer of washed microbiota transplantation (WMT) — shares insights backed by published open-label trial data. His team has reported results across Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and epilepsy, with more than 600 cases in these trials.
Takes Guts weaves together these scientific advances with deeply personal healing stories of people living with Crohn’s, C. diff, autism, epilepsy, bipolar, Tourette’s, ulcerative colitis and more. The full feature is still in post-production — we’re raising funds and awareness to complete the edit and share this work widely.
If this resonates, share the reel and help us finish the film.

This short clip from Takes Guts (the feature-length documentary currently in post-production) shows Professor Faming Zhang preparing to place a nasal tube into the small intestine — the delivery route for washed f***l microbiota transplantation (WMT).
Professor Faming Zhang, MD, PhD, is Chief and Professor of the Department of Microbiota Medicine & Medical Center for Digestive Diseases at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. He is a global pioneer who helped move traditional FMT to safer, standardized washed microbiota transplantation (WMT), invented key technologies including the GenFMTer purification system and colonic/mid-gut transendoscopic enteral tubing (TET), and leads the China Microbiota Transplantation System (fmtBank) that provides non-profit rescue treatment nationwide. His team has treated thousands of patients and continues to publish breakthrough research on microbiome therapies.
Takes Guts follows powerful, character-driven healing stories involving Crohn’s, C. diff, autism, epilepsy, bipolar disorder, Tourette’s, ulcerative colitis and more — alongside clear education about microbes and gut health. We’re raising funds and awareness to complete the full feature edit.

Ever heard of faecal microbiota transplant?
Adrienne is explaining it to someone who’s never heard of the procedure — taking healthy donor stool and transferring the beneficial bacteria into a compromised gut. She’s currently receiving treatment at the Taymount Clinic in the UK for intestinal dysbiosis.

The film follows real healing journeys involving Crohn’s, C. diff, autism, epilepsy, bipolar, Tourette’s, ulcerative colitis and more, alongside clear education about the microbiome and gut health. In 1996, renowned UCLA microbiologist Dr. Syd Finegold wrote to Dr. Richard Sandler about young Andrew Bolte:
“Improvement on vancomycin therapy has been noted at times before in other patients. But it seems as though Andrew’s response has been particularly dramatic and well-sustained.”
Andrew’s mother, Ellen Bolte, was already seeing what many still struggle to accept — that the gut and its microbes can profoundly shape neurological health.
This powerful moment is from Takes Guts, the feature-length documentary now in post-production. The film shares real, heartfelt healing journeys with Crohn’s, C. diff, autism, epilepsy, bipolar, Tourette’s, ulcerative colitis, and more — plus clear science on microbes and the gut-brain connection.

What if the gut could tell us something about the brain?
In this clip from It Takes Guts, Professor Thomas Borody — pioneering gastroenterologist and founder of the Centre for Digestive Diseases in Sydney — tells the extraordinary story of a young autistic child he went on to treat.
For many families living with severe autism, the challenges can extend far beyond the behaviours most people associate with the diagnosis. Sleep disruption, sensory distress, communication difficulties, restricted diets and serious gastrointestinal problems can make everyday life incredibly difficult — for the child, and for the parents trying desperately to help.
In this scene, Dr Borody describes a child whose behaviour had become so extreme that his parents were struggling to cope. It is raw, confronting and it raises a bigger question:
Could the trillions of microbes living inside us have a role in the way the gut and brain communicate?
Professor Borody has spent decades investigating the human gut microbiome and pioneering faecal microbiota transplantation (FMT), particularly in difficult gastrointestinal conditions. His work has also contributed to research exploring microbiota transfer and gastrointestinal symptoms in children with autism.
🎬 This is just one small piece of It Takes Guts.

Our feature-length documentary goes much further, bringing together deeply personal healing stories involving Crohn’s, C. difficile, epilepsy, bipolar disorder, Tourette’s, ulcerative colitis, autism and more — alongside scientists and clinicians exploring the extraordinary world of microbes and gut health.

❤️ We are raising funds and awareness to complete the feature-length edit.
