“Hi, I’m Bec Daniels from NYC, I got my motorcycle license in 2020 and have been riding for the past four years after buying my first bike in 2022. I started my riding journey on a 1982 Yamaha XJ650 Maxim around Oregon and the Bay Area and have been riding a modified 2021 Harley Iron 883 for about two years in New York. I ride with the Litas chapter here and love meeting people in the community and going on trips.

I ride because it makes me stay fully in tune with the present moment and feel free at the same time, and I love riding with friends and exploring new places on a bike. There’s nothing like the thrill of a good night ride or the power and calm you feel ripping down the highway. “I’m Hannah, a motorcycle girl from the South Coast / New Forest in the UK 🇬🇧. I started out 10 years ago on a custom Harley Street 750—black with little orange details, modded to look like a cafe racer. While I’ve met incredible friends from all over the world through motorcycles, I’ve recently taken on a vintage ride and am totally in love with my kickstart 1973 Honda XL175, which is gingery and fun just like me.

Now that I’m getting into off-roading, I’d love to dive deeper into motocross, and you can often find me at events like the Malle Mile, ABR Festival, and Camp VC, or being inspired as a spectator at massive events like the Red Bull Erzberg Rodeo and MotoGP.

For me, motorcycles are all about trying new things and meeting great people. Next up, I’ve got my heart set on Wheels and Waves in Biarritz next year—hopefully I’ll meet some of the community there!” - Ｈａｎｎａｈ⚡️

“Hi, I’m Mercy Rae—singer, actress, and mental health advocate.

My relationship with two wheels started back in 2015 when I bought a ’86 Harley Sportster while building an all-women circus and taught myself to ride. Six months later, under the influence of some bad advice, I tried to Evel Knievel that Sportster up a ramp into a lifted truck. It went as violently wrong as you’d expect—leaving me with severe injuries and road rash across the entire right side of my body. Shaken, and fed a narrative by my ex-husband that riding was “too unsafe for women,” I put bikes away for nearly a decade.

Leaving that toxic life meant reclaiming my own. I got back on two wheels, built my confidence back block by block, and haven’t backed down since—from solo cross-country runs to taking the checkered flag in my very first drag race last month at The Malle Mile - Art of Sprint.

Riding isn’t just a hobby; it’s my sanctuary and my proof of survival. It’s where I go to remember exact who the hell I am and build back the self-trust I lost along the way. More than anything, it connected me to an unbreakable collective of women—especially my fellow founders and riders in The Litas Albuquerque, who are true sisters to me. Sure, there are easier and safer ways to get from point A to point B. But nothing else forces you into total presence, raw freedom, and absolute alive-ness like a motorcycle.” - Mercy Rae
