More effective intervention strategies in cancer research mean more women’s lives saved and better long-term outcomes for women affected by cancer. Dr. Marikki Laiho, Professor of Radiation Oncology and Oncology at Johns Hopkins University is one of our 2022 cancer research grant recipients. Her research of biomarkers enables her to test new therapeutic intervention strategies in endometrial and ovarian cancers, which is a step in the right direction for cancers affecting women.
