Today is Thoughtful Thursday!

Today, as part of Be Kind to Humankind Week, is a reminder to be mindful of those around you. Any act of kindness or thoughtfulness are great ways to celebrate the day, but here are some simple ideas that can have a big impact:

❤️Hold the door open for the person behind you
💙Give a call to a friend or neighbor that may be in need of conversation
💛Leave an encouraging note for a coworker or friend

According to 2023 SEER (Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program) data, over 1.5 million people in the U.S. were living with melanoma of the skin — a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in melanocytes (cells that color the skin) ☀️

This UV Safety Awareness Month, talk to your doctor if you notice changes in your skin such as a new growth, a sore that doesn’t heal, a change in a mole, or any of the ABCDEs of melanoma. Learn the symptoms of skin cancer: www.cdc.gov/skin-cancer/symptoms/.
