I’m going to be vulnerable. I’ve been listening to a new book and I have to say it has slapped me in the face with realizations about myself. I am stopping myself from posting and sharing my experiences. Why? Because, I’m afraid of what people will think. I’m afraid of the judgement and misinterpretation of what my goals are from posting.
💡“They are going to think I’m trying to be a social media influencer.”
💡“Eww who does she think she is?”
💡“She just wants attention”
At the end of the day, why do I care? Do I actually care? No. Because I KNOW not one of these statements are true.

My goals are simple. To help women that have struggled like me. To share the knowledge I’ve obtain through college and numerous certifications in health and fitness to anyone who wants to learn. And lastly, build a career doing something I have always been extremely passionate about.

I’m turning 40 this year and I want to enter the new decade with great health and a fulfilling career. To still remain myself…a ridiculous, fun-loving fool, who can’t NOT make a dumb face while dancing.

If people want to think anything different, I’ve decided to let them. And I’ll let myself finally share my passions and knowledge. ❤️
…..
and maybe more ridiculousness- because at the end of the day…it’s who I am.

These words hit today.

You cant expect results over night. I’ve been consistently strength training for over a year and my body composition is finally making that desired change. Although it takes patience and discipline, the reward that is felt each day, is so much better than sitting back and wishing.

Ladies, we have to work harder to see results. I hate admitting that. But, we have to do that in most aspects of life. Why not use that drive I KNOW you already have and start today. Don’t expect perfection.

Don’t let a slow process stop you all together. We can’t all be like Jeremy here, who can achieve insane biceps in a few weeks 😉😘 but we can grow in more ways than one by prioritizing ourselves a little bit each day.

January was good to me. I had a realization that every small change I made over the last year became a habit. Those habits evolved into a new lifestyle. Now I’m setting even bigger goals…and the best part, I KNOW I can make it happen. A New Year’s resolution inched me closer to where I want to be…But..Realistically, I’m here because I gave myself time, commitment, and grace. Change doesn’t happen over night- big or small. Don’t give up ❤️

Tis the season to feel stressed🎄When I thought about self-care it was mostly pampering, relaxation, or quick dopamine hits. These are amazing and we should partake.

Truth time! I suffer with anxiety and have tried so many ways to calm the symptoms with little to no success. I’ve realized, however, daily actions that boost your mood, confidence, and reduce stress levels is the ultimate self-care. Finding what worked for me with fitness and nutrition has changed my life.

Find what you love and CRUSH it…then, when you’re done for the day, slap on that face mask and jump in a bubble bath!
