As a lactation counselor and mom of a “neuro-spicy” house myself, supporting neurodivergent and disabled parents is especially important to me. This includes parents who are autistic, have ADHD, communicate using ASL or other forms of communication, have physical or sensory disabilities that may affect their lactation experience and those families that don’t resemble traditional expectations.
My goal is to create a space where you can show up as your whole self, ask questions without judgment, and receive support that actually fits you, your child, and your family.
If breastfeeding, pumping, chestfeeding, or lactation feels harder because of the way you communicate, process information, experience sensory input, or move through the world, I would love to support you!
