Giving back doesn’t have to look a certain way to be meaningful. Moody Neuro Lubbock patients and staff recently volunteered together at The Salvation Army, putting community skills into action while making a difference.

Join us for this month’s Moody in Motion, where we celebrate the incredible individuals who make a difference every day. Each month, we highlight a team member so you can get to know the people, passion, and purpose behind the work we do.

Chris is from Albuquerque but now calls Lubbock, TX, home. He joined our Clinical Team as a Physical Therapist in May 2024 and has been a valuable part of Moody Neuro Lubbock ever since!

What Chris enjoys most about working at Moody is being part of each patient’s success and witnessing their growth and progress from the moment they enter Moody to the day they leave. Being able to see such significant changes throughout their rehabilitation journey is truly unique and rewarding.

When not at Moody, you will find Chris spending time with his wife and dog, traveling to visit family, working out, and snowboarding.

Community outings provide patients with the opportunity to take the skills and strategies they practice in therapy and apply them in real-life settings.

Our recent brunch outing focused on budgeting, communication, and community mobility while giving patients the chance to practice these skills in a fun and meaningful environment. Patients and staff enjoyed good food, great conversation, and a successful morning out in the community!
